I can't believe it's been a year in nuf already. Well, some others can't believe it's only been a year since I have been here
Well... Time sure is weird isn't it? Sometimes it seems to fly so quick, and sometimes, at the same time it seems to go on forever.
Last year, it was a different situation than I had been than I am in. Last year I was in a frenzy of the most awaited festival. Durga puja. Roaming all around the city, visiting my favorite mandaps and going to the fair and having fun in the stores. Watch the crowd go to and fro wearing colorful clothes. Young and old, huddled in groups vibrant with the festive vibes...
This year... I am thousands of miles away from my family and old friends... and the places I loved to be during the festival...
Well. Change is inevitable. I miss that time and place... But it's not that bad to have a different kind of experience...
A year ago in nuf, I was... Very different too. Just a normal nuffian. Reading my favorite novels. Discussing. Hardly going beyond that... Then things changed. When I started getting involved more I started to see the "notable members" to be distant and overpowering. Now I realize. What? They are all normal people. Even the most popular nuffian here, is a normal person. And I love it when this forum makes our normal routines fun! Haha... In a year itself I feel like... I have seen at least 2-3 generations change in nuf... Generation of active members... And I have seen people who have cut across them... Like me? Haha... Oh well~ no way I plan on leaving nuf any time soon!
