Here’s something short to read if you want to kill some time. I added an info dump to help anyone imagine or fantasize about whatever they want.

Well, actually the info dump is there cause I can’t be bothered to weave it into a short story.
Btw this is lazily written and barely edited so don’t expect much at all.
————

Liybril’s face turned sour, almost as if she was drinking rancid pond water. Upset, she turned to face the one responsible.

“You forgot the sugar.”

The maid before her immediately apologized with a lowered head.

“I’m sorry to disappoint you mistress, I will remember to add the sugar n-next time.”

Satisfied with the maid’s reply, she thought back to the root of this problem.

’Why did you…? Am I unbearable?’

Liybril glanced towards the man standing beside the maid with a look of contempt.

“No one is better than you at serving my needs. Do not try to slip out of your duties.”

Liybril then pointed an accusatory finger at the nervous maid.

“Never attend to me again unless you wish to die.”

…..

The maid walked out of the room without saying anything. Meanwhile, the man was standing awkwardly in front of his troublesome loli mistress… whom happened to be an arrogant vampire.

“Why did you train her to be my personal maid!? Aren’t you already my personal servant? I don’t need anymore annoying fleas pestering me. She couldn’t even add the sugar to my tea! And to think I thought you were competent. Do you want to die? Is it—“ The loli continued to rant, rather displeased with what she deemed betrayal.

All the while, Bergith thought about what his punishment would be. He knew very well that Liybril wouldn’t rest until he suffered her cruel wrath. She probably thought he would give up after while…

‘Hah~’ He mentally sighed.

It would only make him want to leave this place with renewed fervor. It would sharpen his resolve to escape this idiotic loli.

Even if he would have to make her cry, all’s fine if he could leave and never be seen again.

“ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING!?”

*slap.mp3*

“Leave. And don’t lay your hollow eyes on me until you’ve reflected.”

Having left Liybril’s room, Bergith walked leisurely to one of his favorite gardens in the manor. Pale flowers entered his vision as he stepped through the nearby doors into the garden.

Here they didn’t like the neon plants that the capital had. They said it was too distracting.

He agreed, they would be too distracting for him to think of a plan. So that he would escape.

EXTRA INFO DUMP YAYYYYY~ :blobmelt:

————————————

General Plot:

It had been five years since Bergith had come to join the Lienshord House as a servant. In those five years he had grown very close to the youngest mistress, whom by the way is eighteen years old. Actually… It’d be better to say that the mistress became very fond of him, much to his dismay. He couldn’t understand why this happened though. Yes, he may have understood his mistress’ preferences in many of his duties. Be it in how she likes her tea steeped and sweetened, or how she wants to be praised incessantly.

However… is that enough to validate petting, and cuddling? He wouldn’t have mind if he was the one petting and cuddling but… yeah. To say the least, he was upset about the current situation.

Desperate for solitude and sanctuary, he had decided to pick a maid to train. When he finally decided to choose, no qualms were raised; they thought it was an honor to be chosen after all. Some even felt envy, not that the maids would ever reveal such an emotion.

But I digress. Bergith didn’t like being treated as a pet, it was too painful for him. Even if he didn’t care about pride, self-esteem, or shame. What he did care about, was when she slapped him. It was like a reflex she used whenever he disappointed her. And it was too painful. None of her fawning, chirping, or smiles could remedy the pain.

So the story began. Or something. Maybe I’ll continue this story seriously some time later.

General Environment:

The Lienshord manor is located between two mountain ridges. The surrounding lands are known as the ‘Red Plains,’ despite being a forest. This is because an eternal autumn stays to plague the lands with only minor changes in the weather. An example of such would be the light snow in winter and ticklish heat in summer.

The manor itself is large and grandeur with gardens dotted around. These gardens never have anything more colorful than the faintest red, and are dominated by vines.

Point being:
It’s a quaint and quiet place with amicable temperatures year round. A place one can think in without concerns over nuisances. Well.. if your not a servant to the Lienshord House at least.

Liybril:

A short girl with unending insults tucked loosely within her mind. She has long blonde hair that curls away from her body at the waist. She was raised in the manor without much more than short visits to the outside world, not that she cares. Apparel-wise, normally she wears a simple red and black dress as a kudos to her vampiric heritage.

Although she is a vampire, she doesn’t do anything unique apart from occasionally siping from a blood-filled goblet on boring days. Otherwise, she is the average haughty mistress.

Sometimes she will stare vacantly at the cloudy skies that loom over the manor, pondering thoughts like:

‘Should I ask for some eastern tea? Would that make Bergith homesick? Is he even from the eastern lands???’

All in all, she’s very impulsive and inconsiderate. When you take these traits and combine them with her prideful upbringing…

At least she has some innocent intents behind her social ineptness. :blobsweat_2:

Bergith:

He’s uninterested in many things. One of such is dealing with annoying and abusive mistresses. If he knew I was the author he would be chiding me in frustration, saying something like:

“Please, let me escape. I don’t want to live here!”

or

“Ugh, can you make Liybril more kind? She’s too much of a pain to deal with.”

As for Bergith’s past… It's none existent. He’s basically my half-baked self-insert that was inspired from a dream I had lately.

In the dream I was a guest attending a meeting between some vampires and protagonists, where I ended up eloquently flattering the vampires.

It was weird for me since normally I don’t dream of vampires. Plus, it was awfully lucid. :hmm:

Would appreciate it if someone were to point out the flaws with the vague plot that would make this a bad read had I actually written it all. Or maybe just toss your opinions in the comment section about what should change for the better like:
"Another noteworthy character should be added! Like that maid Liybril got upset with. Just make her a love interest or something!"

Also having them visit the manor would be a good time to tell the scenery of the place as well. And it would make the vampire and her home a little more otherworldy, since there are visitors visiting the place. Perhaps have them talk of how rarily any visits as well. Sorry I didn't think of something so obvious earlier: scenery and the correlating scenery surrounding it is one of my weakest aspects when writing.

To weave the info dump into the story you can have another vampire or noble to visit her manor and before they walk in or on their way they are recounting the various bits of information about her as to not offend and to charm. The visitors could be there also react to the situation and maybe choose to help or laugh (perhaps secretly on both accounts) the captured butler.

Nah, I think my half baked stuff should be left here. Although I'll consider.

You should post this in the community creations section of NUF. I think it's for half made stories and there would be more people to view it there, thus having a higher chance at getting feedback, thus having a higher chance of helpful feedback.
