Click, click, click, click. The sound of continuous typing. This was the daily habit of Conner Sperus, he was a conspiracy theorist who on the daily blogged about his various ideas of aliens, demons, and the government. How they were always present and barely out of sight.

That the aliens were always getting stranded or lost within their galaxy and because of this would sometimes visit our planet in search of directions and eventually a way out once they saw the things our culture idolized.

The demons were luring children away from their homes to eat, no, that's too regular, everyone already knew about that, thought Conner. The thing that the demons did that we really ought to know is their incessant preaching about how god doesn't exist.

And how the government was constantly watching every action we took, tapping into our microphones and cameras to see exactly we were doing at all times.

Everyone who read his blog never believed a word he wrote, but they did enjoy the way he wrote it. With the warning of an imminent Armageddon were heart warming stories: one of how a little girl convinced a demon to kill itself before it could kill her. Of an alien who was so lost as to its identity that it eventually settled on a princess version of a giant turtle monster, and of how a government agency was eventually shut down for ineptitude because of some blogger posting all of their doings on the internet.

A second after he posted his latest story about a potential truce with the warring nations of aliens, demons, and governments he heard a knock on his door. Conner wasn't sure who it could be since he neither ordered anything nor had any friends, so he waited to see if the knocking would soon cease. It did not.

The knocking gradually grew into slamming. Afraid that more people would gather in front of his apartment
he ran toward his door and peered through its peephole. It was a fellow who wore a trench coat, sunglasses, and trilby, all black. Immediately Conner's mind went toward this: it must be the government finally here to do me in after my exposing them.

He was unsure what to do. The only exit was the door the man in black was at and the window on the other side of the apartment. He knew if he tried to run that they would find him in no time, with the aid of satellites and civilian's cellphones. Resigned to his fate he decided to do one last things before his death, blog.

Within his blog he detailed his exact co-ordinates, country, city, zip code, address, and apartment number. As well as detailing the events that were currently unfolding of the man at black being at his doorstep. Almost immediately after he pressed enter the door to his apartment was broken through laying in heaps in his doorway.

Extremely afraid Conner's eyes darted in every direction looking for somewhere to run or something to use. He grabbed his trusty bat that any paranoid person bordering on neurotic would have. He waited for the slow, yet heavy footsteps that would soon enter his room while standing at the side of the door in the ready position.

Conner expected the assailant to at least try the door, but no, he elected to blow it to bits like the one before. Just as he was about to walk into the room Conner swung his bat with greater physical force than he had ever exerted before. The result was the man in black being completely unharmed (including his glasses), while the bat bounced off the man's face as if it had hit a brick wall.
