The problem with reading cooking manga is wanting to recreate the dishes. Well, my first step was in creating a berry dish. After checking a bunch of different recipes, here's a strawberry and blueberry one I was able to put together:

Ingredients: strawberries, blueberries, sugar, water, lemon juice/wine

1st, rinse the berries
2nd, cover the bottom of a pan with water
3rd, add blue berries
4th, cut straw berry into 3-6 times depending on size and add the pan
5th, put pan on medium heat and add 1/3 cup of sugar
*remember to stir*
6th, add lemon juice or wine as berries begin to "melt"
7th, add more sugar and lemon juice/wine as needed
8th, cook until the sauce darkens and thickens, turn down heat
9th, let cool once finished.

I use this sauce on plane cakes and pancakes for an extra flavor. Truthfully, I sometimes bake a cake just for the excuse to make this sauce.

Enjoy~
