MC's only family was his mother who sold all possession and land to make dowry to buy ML as MC's wife.

Since MC was a 2nd gen rich kid, he only knew basic knowledge for creating new items from the modern era. First, he sold tofu, tofu flower with his mother and wife. MC didnot want to embark on the scholarry fame route coz he knew it was not safe. But he still used his literacy to write story and sold it to bookstore to publish and it became his high way to rich. Together with selling tofu recipe and publishing novel, he bought part of mountain and lands to grow more soybeans, watermelon, and all kinds of fruit trees.

His watermelon business was a success too, reading this part was very interesting and unforgetable. As did his comedy novel, and his fast food store. It was the fried rice, buns, mooncake, soup, etc that could be prepared before (not our fast food type) and sold directly just as the customers ordered.
He then went to open a story telling tea house after the bookstore owner asked him to be a 2nd owner. MC published a monthly magz that went viral, another success together with his story telling teahouse.

ML also changed his temperament, not timid anymore, and helped MC with his business. In fact, ML's talent was also superb, his culinary talent made all MC's suggestion alive, he learnt to read and write pretty fast, and could paint and make clothes. MC could not cook, could not do farming, did not ahve good knowledge on planting plants and crops. Basically he could not do all those survival stuff, because he never needed to do it before. But as a modern man, he could make suggestion and arrange them for ML to try and practice instead.

The enemies were ML's grandma and uncles' family esp the 3rd uncle and his son that were favored by grandma. Grandma and all hated ML and his younger bro for their gender as ger. ML's parents were nice but his father lacked the courage to say NO to his mother, and it led them to be bulied and abused all the time. Author wrote them little by little, so it's not a direct annihilation lol By the end of it, the spoiled 3rd household didnot get to climb higher and had to work if they wanted to eat.

Reading MC's steps in being a landowner and big business man was satisfying. MC didnot have any golden finger or the detail knowledge for farming (or the know it all mc-type), so all he could do was doing everything one by one with failure and success. MC's relationship with his mother and ML were nice, and felt natural to be scolded by his mom like refusing to be scholar and be landowner instead or for being prodigal. Since MC was the type to spend money (not for his own entertainment ofc) to do business while they were still poor Mom and ML thought of him to be a prodigal son. They would forbid him to go to town when they wanted to buy thigns and instead they did themselves because they were scared he would splurge lol One time, when MC was doing business in town and went home, he saw ML in front of the house looking so worried. MC thought he was worried of him and like 'Aww so sweet of him', but ML actually was nervous of MC wasting money again LOL

The story is really good. I wouldnt mind to read it again.
