Breathing is hard
Breathing is really really hard
Sometimes -
Sometimes...
Scratch that
Breathing is always hard
For me at least
Maybe for you, too
I don't know
I don't know

But I want to know
Is breathing hard for you as well
Do you feel the crushing weight of the world on your chest?
Do you know how it feels for you lungs to just stop working?
Do you understand that desire for your heart to just stop beating?
Do you?
I want to say, "I don't"
Then grin the way I always do when I think someone said something ridiculous
But I can't
I can't muster the will to try

Sigh

I look up the sky
It looks so bright
So clear
So blue
"Such a great day, " it screams
I look down below
It looks so far
Crazily so
Crazily so, right?

There's a song playing in the background
An Imagine Dragons song
I think it's called "Believer"
Yet a different song is playing inside my head
Funny though, the song inside my head, it's playing the nightcore version
A switching vocals version even
I don't really like nightcore
But I like this one
"If I Die Young"
...
Wonder why people judge one's music taste
Isn't it just a song
Wonder if it means something to listen to a song with such a title

Sigh

Breathing is still hard
My distraction didn't calm me much

Under the bright blue skies
There is this person
Who got tired of gazing below from the building's edge
So walk away, she did
And weakly down the rooftop's garden, she lied
Staring at the mocking skies
Playing songs inside her head
Hoping
Praying
Waiting
For the breath to either
Return back to her lungs
Or don't return at all

Breathing is so hard
So so hard
I can't breathe

I can't breathe
And slowly, even with the morning breeze dancing all around me
I'll probably lose consciousness as well
...At least there won't be a mocking blue sky anymore, right?

      I have a playlist for every mood haha..I pretty much enjoy every genre except country and rap.. or rap country or country rap haha.. This reminded me of one of my fav songs when Im feeling funky. He actually suffers from anxiety and depression I read.

      There is this moment, when I think about the most troublesome things to me and I feel like my chest hurts so much. I am trembling. I can't breath... *sigh

      It's easier to conceptualize breathing if you simply think about it as your muscles pushing air into your lungs, I think. Keeping a steady breathing pace is important when exercising as to not run out of breath too quickly.
