Wozwald - Utattemita/Miyashita Yuu

This is a cover by miyashita yuu of one of Niru Kajitsum's song, Wozwald.



Characters:
-Winnie Schroeder, white-hair guy (protagonist)
-Atie Schroeder, black hair guy with white eyes (protagonist's father)
-Oz (or Woz), the small rabbit character
-Fruits Maker, the mask guy

We follows Winnie and Oz around an amusement park, as he gradually lose himself to drugs after the death of famous blind father. His dad was the creator of the amusement park which won a award and overall very success; but as we could see later in the video, the assusement was reduced to a club with drugs.

The English subtitles are just lit, out of this world, one of the most creative subtitles I ever seen before. At first I thought the English words were part of the video, but only as I read the comments I realized it was subtitles.

And don't forget the one who actually sang this cover, miyashita yuu. I just absolutely love the whispering way he sang the song and the range he could do. Like in the middle of the song he does this growl like singing with his voice, which was totally different from the way he was singing before. It went from female who singing like male, very androgynous, to you can definitely know that's a male. His voice makes the song that much greater with the already exceptional movie, lyrics and beat.

When I listen to the original, I couldn't get into it like I had done with the cover because of the unsmoothness of a vocaloid's voice. I tried, but I kept comparing it to miyashita's voice and since after quickly switch back to the cover.

In all, please listen to the song with English subtitles and check miyashita yuu YouTube channel. He has more good covers, but personally, I think Wozwald is one of, if not the best cover I think he ever done.
