In a world of color
When you feel like you suffer
With but a greyscale buffer
That's killing your luster

Take your eyes off
what's not there
as if it were a bad trade off
with things beyond compare

With things such as lime
that's clearly a crime
And some green
that's hiding it's mean

With things such as red
that's just spreading some dread
And some Magenta
that's just drawING A PENTA - *ehem*

With things such as blue
that's just handing out glue
And some cyan
looking like a vicious buisnessman

Truly, what do you miss with a greyscale buffer?
shouldnt it seem way more fluffer?
Take a look,
I'm not a crook!

From the darkest of white
Without a bit of spite
to the brightest of blacks
with just a few cracks

It's got a nice little sheen
right under that screen
of it's background vibe
to it, that's not all we can ascribe

As it also protects the eye
From the evil in the sky
In the form of clouds
And their endless crowds

There is much to see in a world of gray
As not all that can be seen is so easy to display
One mind to another
Without all those colors to bother

No distraction is quite as strong
As lightrays drawn long
What truly mattters is colorless
because it's just you and your mind, yes?

- me, making an attempt at a poem about the weather and ending somewhere entirely different xD

You, Lost Soul14, Haerether and 3 others like this.
