Do you ever had those trippy moments where you took a nap in the afternoon woke up, looked at the time, and thought it was morning already and now you're late for school/work or whatever? Then found out it's PM not in AM, yeah those, i have something similar but it's much more severe and frequent.
I simply forget time exist sometimes.
"Hmm, I'm done with this! I'll just do the rest tomorrow... *Checks time* *body freezes* huh? Saturday? Isn't it Thursday-"
And then I'll proceed to have an existential crisis for a whole 30 minutes, thinking about how i've been doing recently, what made me even think it was Thursday, no, why is it Saturday instead? I swear it was Thursday.. i can't even try to remember what i ate on those missed days, or I can't differentiate if it's yesterday or that's what i ate for lunch today, did i even eat? One question just seems to lead to another question, and makes me doubt about my existence and life even more.
But there's one thing for sure, I'm not doing enough, there's still so many things left to do and time just passes by so quickly,
i just want the sun to stop orbiting for a moment and let me have time, just a huge pause! And this is the reason why i like nights, yk the phrase of "the night is still young", after night there's midnight, i still have many hours left, and i can finally be somewhat at peace bc I don't have to worry about time going so fast, about tomorrow, especially when I'm watching/reading something a series that's finished or have a hundred+ chapters ahead? and it's also good? ! Heaven I'd say !
I wish time would just stop, and give me time, let me forever enjoy the joys of staying up at midnight reading something new which I'm invested into, without worrying about the tomorrow, because I've still got many hours ahead before the sun rises, the night is still young yk, let me be, forever.
