What if you meet someone in a forum like this and you became really close internet buddies. Then when you revealed your identity to each other he/she said that he is a famous person. Would you treat is as a joke? Or will you treat him differently? What if your a fan of her would you scream and be a like a fan girl saying "OMG I cant believe this is true."

Would it affect you or not? But before that what are the chances that this happen. Right? ;)

Near zero could be like 0.0123% right? Not zero at all XD

Well, that sounds interesting, even though I think the chance is near 0. Even if it's really happened, maybe I'll say, "whoa really?", ask their experience being a famous person, and that's it....? :blobjoy:

@anyudr Well, I guess we could look at it this way:
The famous person and Person A has been cyber friends for a while. They become really close enough to exchange real life identities. So let's say there's a basic amount of trust within the two parties and maybe the famous guy just want a friend so in a fit of impulse revealed his real identity.

Well, I really don't know anything about being famous, but I do know that it is tiring to pretend to be someone else when you are with people you consider as close friends.

I was never a fan of any artist. Not that I hate them, I just see them as another normal human being instead. I could act as if I don't know who they are even if they walked in front of me.

So if its really happen so, they will still be friends cause i'm never a fan. Lol

That sounds interesting. I'd like to takcle this from another aspect: What's the motivaton of this famous one?

I mean there must be thousands of people who wanted to know him/her in any forum. He/She must be careful enough to lurking and didn't mention anyting about himself in their profile pages so that no one knows he is here. Once they unvealed their identity, then the effort they made was useless.(you can't expect a cyber-friend to hold your secret, right?)

So, one possible reason is that he/she is joking. Or, there's some conspiracy behind it. Like: the swindler was trying to get control of me, and I'm one of the victims of suicide-game or so.

I would become a fan of them and no longer be a friend to them. I'm already a fan of people like Shem, Ai chan, and Asiru. Not a dedicated fan, mind you, but a fan nevertheless.
