From Season 1, I felt like Origami was the most interesting character. She had great characterization and stood up for her reason of living. And while she had a bit of antagonistic role, she was willing to stand up against Shido (the mc) and has proven to be quite a complex character, far more than you would expect in any show, let alone a harem show.
Author has clearly established all the major mysteries and plot points from start and there is quite a bit of foreshadowing. The series gets better and better with each passing arc and Origami's arc in S3 was amazing.
I am rather pleasantly surprised that Season 2 ED focused on Shido. You wouldnt normally expect that to ever happen. Yamai sister's arc was rather fan service-y but it was decent. Miku's arc was were I felt Shido started developing a distinct personality.
Season 3 was well, I will divide it into episode 1-11 and episode 12.
Ep 1-11, Animation was far from perfect but the overall plot was great. I could feel where plot points were cut but I got the overall plot the author was going for. Origami's arc was amazing. Some of the soundtracks were perfect, for example, AHIH
Ep 12, Well it felt like non-canon ova, I think I would have preferred them adding another episode for the transition from Natsumi's to Origami's arc over the current episode.
I must say, Date a Bullet movie was rather... meh. That being said, Second part of the movie was better than the first part. Kurumi of course was as great as ever.
I find it hilarious that every season of this series has had a different studio behind it. Even S4 is going to have a different studio. Cant wait for S5 to be announced to be adapted by MAPPA or something xd.
Anyways, Origami is the best girl and Shiori > Shido
