October 18 - [9:18 AM]

Temperature: 27° C
Set feeding time: Approximately 9:11 AM. Awaiting 4 PM and 11 PM.
Fed: Morning.
What to feed next day: Feed #2 (The Red)
Abnormal behavior: No
Lights On At: Today at 1 PM.
Water change date: 10/17/2021

Note: I have encountered a lot of confusing on when to turn off the lamp. I know the lights positively affect the growth of plants, so I should keep it on, but sometimes I feel the lights are on for too long. I think I should introduce a new control variable for this. Yesterday, when I went to feed my fishies at night with the flakes, (I was confused about em the whole day. The new feed it is after all.) the lights in the aquarium were off for about an hour cuz they were on for too long. But when I went to feed em, I turned on the lights. And the fish were kinda lethargic. I felt like I went to their room when they were sleeping and turned the lights on, so that someone did not want to wake up. But the scene was just the cutest. Three fishies hiding in one nest. Another hiding behind the plant. Etc. Though when the Malawi Golden woke up, she began to become aggressive, probably due to abrupt and unexpected lights and hunger. So, in the end I decided that it would be better to feed em to reduce hunger and hence reduce the aggression. In the aggressiveness department, Malawi Golden would be the leader after all. I thought she was second place. But it seems she could very well be first place in dominance.

Btw, do you have like oxygen.. that bubbles/create bubbles to the water.?it can also help.. I forgot how though.. also about lighting and sunlight..sunlight is a no..no... cuz when the water turned hot the fishes will die they want like room temperature..also lighting is I think not that really necessary...cuz when I raised fishes before some were on our basement and no light/sun getting there..my fishes were very well..I even covered them with plywood...and made sure no sunlight will enter...xD

There are some kind of fishes that's territorial..like only there kind are allowed..they want to be alone..they'll kill the other or the new fish or they just die..there's also a kind that they're the same kind but still fight each other..kill each other..also separate the big and small fishes cuz the big fishes will kill/eat the small fishes...I lost many fishes in the past when I was still raising fishes bcos idk those things..so you should also research and ask those are also raising fishes or the seller/store..about how to raise them and so on.xD

"Can't you also use normal day light??" - I don't think normal day light is enough for the live plants to survive
