There was a time when I hated the concept of lesbians/gays and made fun of them... And then... I started wondering just what is so tempting about BL that everyone loves BL?

At the sane time, I will also frustrated by all the fanservice for males only. Huge ass boobs (as well as huge asses) that too with a narrow waist which didn't make any sense to me... Also the frustration of love triangles. Like the one in Vampire Knight. Also exposure to LGBT+ characters in novels whom I just adored! Like Nico di Angelo...

All of these made me curious to read BL. So I went ahead and read my first BL... "Hello Class President!" .... I thought it was extremely lewd as I never saw scenes like that before... I didn't even know anything about male genitalia lol...

I read a hardcore fanfic about Kaname and Zero, but I couldn't make out anything... I didn't understand just what the hell was going on in the sex scene lol... I didn't even know how straight couples did it! Lol...

After that, I tried Ten Count... and then slowly... To my surprise I found "truths" about male genitalia... I first didn't believe it ofc. Not just that, I also found the story really interesting and their relationship made sense... Also Shirotani's mysophobia and my BL phobia seemed to compliment each other... Though when things got "too dirty" for me, I just skipped those chapters lol...

So yeah... Slowly and slowly I got used to BL ... But I still was prejudiced against GL...

I tried to overcome that the same way, and nuf helped me a lot in that aspect... I talked to GL lovers, and they were as cute and nice as the BL lovers... I even developed a taste for straight romance once again, necessarily not fanservice for men tho...

My belief that there is not enough fanservice or relatable sexual literature for females still exists. Girls are always expected to be innocent and sweet. If they express their desire for erotic material as well, they become indecent... BL is a major source for fanservice for females, it's sad that whatever recognition they have, people keep complaining there is too much bl. When I see the ranks, I don't see a lot of bl up there? Mostly they are the usual ecchi harem and whatnot...

Hmm.. I’ve never actually hated the concept of lesbian/gay stories, but I just kinda avoided them bc read stories where I can kinda ‘see’ myself in them. I wasn’t as brave as you tho, and my first step into lgbt concept-ish was a gender bender :blobjoy: I didn’t want to be instantly repulsed and scArRed fOr liFe with my first step... good choice ig bc that story was actually good, heheh...

Uhhhhh i myself and i think many people dont really have a problem with bl or gl. It's just the feeling that i will become a deviant or start seeing other people in another light due to which i totally ignore it. Just thinking about some guy in that sense gives me goosebumps though lesbian play actually becomes more of a fantasy but i would still prefer to just stay the same guy who can properly appreciate the female form or seeing my own friends without having some weird thoughts:sweating_profusely::blobpeek:

I like fluffy stories. Doesn't matter if the two people are gay straight or whatever.

But when it comes to sexually explicit material, that is a completely different...um..."ball game".

But that is also not what this blog is about.

For me, anime, movies, stories, shows, I am not a romance kind of goblin. I like action and guns and cars and explosions and cool scenes and explosions and guns.
