The Confession
"I beg you, please stop this" a loud voice pierced the silence of the quite class. The whole class turned around and were shocked to see what was happening before their eyes. The Student Council President, Msmarl who was famous for teasing and bullying everyone in the name of rules was begging to someone and that was none other than her best friend Sacrlet. They couldn't believe their eyes. After realising that whole class eyes are on her, Msmarl gathered all her courage and walked out of the class. As she ran away, Scarlet followed her.
"Machi wait, Machi I said wait" Scarlet chasing after her shouted her name loudly but Msmarl ignored her and kept on walking further away from her.
"Machi, if you don't stop I'll never talk to you" Scarlet shouted.
Msmarl was stuck at one place. She wanted to run away but her legs were not able to move after listening the last sentence that came out of her friend's mouth.
"What is wrong with you? Why are you running away from me?" Scarlet asked.
Scarlet was a playful girl. She was liked by everyone. She was also known as th playgirl by her classmates. While Msmarl was just opposite of Scarlet. She was Student Council President, but she use to abuse her power more often. That's why students maintained their distance from her. The only one to approach the cold beauty was Scarlet.
"D-don't ask me any questions and let me go" Msmarl said while keeping her back turned towards Scarlet. Scarlet walked towards her and turned her around. She was shocked to see that Msmarl was crying. Tears kept rolling down her eyes. Scarlet panicked to see her dear Msmarl in this state.
"Machi i-i am sorry. I don't know what made you like this but i am sorry if it's my fault. But atleast tell me what i did which made you to cry like this." Scarlet asked while wiping Msmarl's tears.
"Nothing, you did nothing" Msmarl replied and pulled herself away from Scarlet.
"I must go now, i have to attend the meeting" Msmarl said and started to walk way from Scarlet.
" Machi if you keep being like this i swear i'll get mad and never talk to you. Just talk to me and say what's the problem" Scarlet got frustated.
Msmarl unable to hold her anger back turned around and shouted "It's because of you i am running away. Why can't you see if i stay one more minute here with you, I-I will fall in love with you all over again. You always tease me saying you love me and will never leave me. I didn't took it seriously at the start but don't know when i began to dream of the things you said to become my reality, our reality. But as always you were just being your playful self and it was only me who was in love. So if you can't love me back atleast give me sometime to recover from all this."
Msmarl couldn't believe herself what she just did. She poured all her heart out in front of the only person she didn't wanted to knew about this. She was scared to know how Scarlet would react.
"Will she hate me? She would be disgusted by me now, right" these thoughts began to cloud all over her mind. Her vision turned black as she couldn't understand what to say now. She tried to open her tightly sealed lips to say that all this was wrong and she didn't mean any of it but she couldn't.
After a while she looked at Scarlet who was standing there like a statue staring at nothing but only at her.
" S-scarlet, what i said earlier was all-" suddenly she felt a body hugging hers. It was Scarlet who ran over and hugged her tightly.
"W-what do you think y-you are doing?" Msmarl who was trying to free herself from Scarlet's warmly hug asked.
"Why are you asking such a stupid question?" Scarlet said while grinning.
"You know i never would have said those words to you as a joke. I mean every single word which i have said to you" releasing Msmarl from the hug Scarlet looked into her eyes and said " I love you, and i am happy to know that you feel the same. From now on we will be always together" Msmarl couldn't believe her ears and tears beagn to flow down from her eyes. But this time they were happy tears.
