One seeks darkness,
Lusting it's solemn warmth,
Yet, blind to its cost.

When she reaches back,
Hearts age:Tears dry.
The soul heaves in despair.

Now you see,
That warmth is nothing but,
The burning embers of life.

One resents Darkness,
Remembering her fatal touch,
Yet, forgetting she just loved back.

Love isn't bliss,
Pain isn't cold,

One who loves,
Knows the warmth in pain,
And the bliss in death.

warmth in pain is like the feeling of your blood escaping from your body and running down your skin

But bliss in death is non-existent, at least for me, because death is letting go of all sensations, including bliss
