Fireworks

Sitting on the patio of a bar Friday night vibes all around..
The breeze is warm I'm stretching my arms out.. thinking of you..
You are probably just waking up across the ocean
It was getting crowded in there music bumping.. bodies bumping..bumping
I felt stifled by the atmosphere so I thought I'd soak up some night air..
When I heard a boomboomboom and looked towards the town lake.. Fireworks?
Yeah!.. what an unexpected surprise!
It's quite a technicolor display over the shimmering dark lake..
The lake is pretty at night the bridge above it is old and strung with lights.. but this was a magical display
People stopped in their tracks on the busy Friday night sidewalk to look at the sky..
The young beautiful crowd stunned into silence..So unexpected..
A girl in black boots, shorts and a glimmering top..holding onto a guys arm stopped right in front of me like time stood still.. they looked in love..
Looking at the sky smiling and laughing..
Wow..am I glad I came outside to think of you
The sky was lit up with bursting flowers of light, shooting up blasting out.. disentigrating with only grey smoke remaining..for a reminder
So glad I ventured out
Im thinking its ironic fireworks are propeled into by the sky by gunpowder which then ignites them..
They are so beautiful and harmless..
The gunpowder that brought pain through destruction brings pleasure tonight
Green.. blue..orange. blue dancing across the sky..mesmerizing the passerbys
What an awesome feeling..

This scene of instant stop action on the sidewalk..
A beautiful crowd looking at the sky
The brightly lit up sky..
Thinking of you just brought me out into quite a spectacle..once again you brought me a smile..
The finale was really popping every color twinkling and spraying across the sky
But what caught my eye was a plane was flying by the exploding lights headed for the airport
I thought what a way to fly into town..
I wonder what it looked like out the window?
Emmy's friends missed the sight, maybe she should have gone to get them
Here comes one now to drag her back..
Well, that was fun..my thoughts of you accompanied by fireworks..sweet
