Reuben Sandwich is a type of pan-fried or grilled sandwich. It consists of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressings mixed together, and seated between two slice of rye bread. As for its origins, there are two sayings. The first one claims that a grocer from Omaha, Nebraska named Reuben Kulakofsky invented the sandwich from sometime between 1920 to 1945. Another claims that in 1925, the first Reuben Sandwich came out of the oven in Blackstone Hotel. The Crescent Moon Grill restaurant opposite of Blackstone Hotel is said to still maintain and sell the tasty sandwich, that still retain its original flavour.
