Opaque stream of thoughts,
Drifting in my seams of consciousness,
Slippery and fickle like a fish in a pond.
A break in wave let's out a shine,
Brisk but bright,
Enough to linger in my mind.
Its scales just a touch away,
Yet so distant; like a haze,
Seemingly playful with a grace.
Clouding the reality,
Everything becomes a maze,
Wading through,
All I remember is its name...
