Just a random blog on how I realized the greatness of fountain pens in tracing drawings.. Like, ever since I started drawing, I've been using ballpoint gel pens for tracing. I always had problems on how hard it was because the pen keeps producing broken lines... like. it. wont. friggin. draw! It was really frustrating because it ruins your drawing and you'll lost your motivation to continue or finish it. I've bought countless of pens searching for "the one" but yea.. never found it.. till awhile ago. Soo.. it all began when I decided to bring my sketchbook and bunch of pens/ mechanical pencils to work because I wanted to practice. I noticed the pair of fountain pens, which I have bought cheaply online (like around 1.50$ for the 2 with 6 ink cartridges), inside my pencil case. Was too lazy to remove them so I just brought it along. Then decided to draw and just played with the fountain pen... and then voila~ found that one pen I was searching for all this time.
a sample, haphazard sketch with the cheap pen
