I have in my hand object A. I don’t need it right now so I’ll put it down for a bit.
What I need is object B. I know exactly where I left it so I go to get it.
Odd, it’s not there. I’m probably not looking properly. I’ll do a thorough search.
This is weird. I saw it here the other day. Why can’t I find it now?
I must have moved it I guess..
Okay I need object A now. I left it right here.....Hmm where’s it gone?
I only put it down a few minutes ago. How could it have disappeared so quickly.
This is ridiculous now. I left it there next to object C. Object C is still there so where has object A gone?
I’ve moved everything around and had a look a few times. Still nothing.
I’ll have one last look and if I can’t find it I’ll give up.
I’ll move this about, check under that, then behind those and finally under the cover.
Aha I’ve found it. I found object B.
Wait what?!?!?!
I looked for you and you weren’t there. Now that I’m looking for something else you turn up!
....What have you done with object A?

      made me think of borrowers from arriety.. they say that those borrowers like to take items that you need and will return them when you dont need em anymore..I'm not sure if i learned it from the film or read it somewhere. one thing to counter them is, of course, to ask your mom. moms have immunity from borrowers and will mostly know where to look for those items you need. if she can't find it then you just have to wait for that item to show up again ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)

      The line, "I looked for you and you weren’t there. Now that I’m looking for something else you turn up!" is really something that I could relate to a deeper level. Seriously though, things start to show up when you least expect them lol
