Recently, I've been wanting to do some marker artworks and it's been haunting me. Not the normal markers mind you. Alcohol based markers like copic. Here are some sample artworks by Warren Louw, Artgerm, and Reyhan with copic markers.
Ok, here is the underlying problem. Copics are so damn expensive. In my country, one single marker is around $5. I can't afford something like that right now. So, I've been trying to look for alternatives and found Shin Han Touch Twin Markers.
True they're not as good as copics but they're about $3 each marker! Plus, I found a store here that sells a 36 pc set for around $105 which isn't that bad considering I can pick the colors myself whereas the same 36 set of copics would set me back $115 and I wouldn't have the luxury to pick per piece unlike the Shin Han markers.
Ok, with that explanation out of the way, I wanted to share something I did in excel that has dubbed me borderline obsessed according to my best friend.
Exhibit A:
Not the set I was planning to buy but I wanted to see all the stuff they had in these sets. Which segued to this:
Exhibit B:
All the remaining colors not included in the 60 pc sets of (A) and (B). THEN
Exhibit C:
All refillable markers of Shin Han Touch Twin Markers! AND
Exhibit D:
All non-refillable markers of Shin Han Touch Twin Markers.
All that's left for me to do is to pick em colors for the 36 pc set. I feel particularly proud of these excel stuff.
Just had to share it
