There are people who sometimes can’t finish something because they don’t want it to end. Either that, or they jus lose interest along they way. I am quite different, When I get into something I get into it quite deaply. Then become obsessed it. Then I go and find things similar to that. Then are some cases where i thought they were similar but was I wrong. In the end I came to love that too.

What I’m trying to get here is that I normally get into something finish it, and move on. Normally that’s the case, but I do leave things halfway, and not like at the last bit. I’ve had this problem for years now. Like when ever I am watching a TV show, anime, or reading webtoons, mangas, and novels. I stop halfway, and come back to it in a month to even a year. This is like really bad when it comes to books from the library. I end up returning some of them late because of this problem of mine. And I keep the book cuz I wanna finish it, but don’t finish it till a month or so later. I mostly get these finished by procrastinating from school, and other things.

Although it’s kinda different when my friends lend me the books. Because they keep coming to like, “are done yet?” They don’t stop haunting till I finish it then have a discussion about it with them. But other than my friends who pressure me. I mostly use procrastination to complete things, while trying to ignore other things, like school. Which I never thought procrastination could be so useful to me. When it’s the root of all my problems. And for things like anime series that have 12-13 eps I always stop at the number 9 and 7. Idk why these numbers of alll things. For longer series, like hunterXhunter, I stoped halfway somewhere. But I for some reason finished all of sugu chara? Even though hunterXhunter is really awesome and I love it. I finished an anime that’s completely opposite of its genre? I’ve probably done this to plenty of other series.

Sorry tangit. I stop half way and I don’t Why. I don’t know if this is just me who’s like this.
Me: Hardcover > Softcover.
Friend: Digital > Hardcover.
Friend 2: graphic novels > novels.
Person: Textbook > books.
Me, Friend 1&2:.????? (*´Д`*) Say what now.

That does sound quite unusual... I'm not sure if I understood what @Clozdark said right, but following that thought, doesn't that mean that you subconsciously don't want those stories to end and would rather get stuck in the middle? I could be totally wrong though xD not sure if it really makes sense... or you're just not interested enough in those things anymore. I remember starting a lot of kdrama series but then stopping somewhere halfway through cause they didn't turn out to be what I expected or would have liked to see. And I also do this weird thing where I stop playing right before the boss battle in games cause I know the game is gonna be over afterwards and I don't feel enthusiastic about it if I know everything already.... so you're not alone with your weirdness xD

Idk...After you stop halfway, what did you do? Are you doing something else and stop halfway again or busy doing things for school? Maybe you because you get bored easily or you have other things to do...

Because it's too brightfull that's why when it become a little bit dimmer everything looks like a darkness.
And people are afraid of darkness that's why you avoid it.
