Jade Pieces

I tried my best.

I screamed and ran.

I picked my shattered jade pieces,
the dynasties should bow down.

They pained me and gave me scars that i would remember for a lifetime.

I tried really hard—
I tried very hard to pick every piece of me.

But the jade pieces were too sharp,
deep cut flesh and enormous blood flowing out my arteries and veins.

How can I mend these broken pieces?

How can I heal these deep wounds?

How many temples should I go to kneel and pray?

How can anything change if everything is beyond repair?

I hope the jade pieces mend itself—
because that is the only time that i could save the remaining pieces of myself.
