I know that reading can afffect you, but yo! I've been reading romance novels with politic as their main plot, like The Grand Princess, The Trick to Teasing a Noble Family’s Son, Chengfengdu, and Four Marriages. All are from the same author. Her novels' female leads are always strong and intellegent, they are also equal with their partner. It's just... THE POLITICS GOSH, IT ALWAYS SUFFOCATES ME.

The tragedy always stabs you quietely and now I'm too tired to laugh. I'm searching through my reading lists to find a CN novel that is fluffy or funny. I need a rest...

      @Ahmya I'm just fine with the poltics, but dang! The heaviness I can't stand it! It's not that I'm bored, but I feel like something heavy is put on my chest whenever I read about the changes, unlike the novels I usually read, her novels change friends to foe or lovers become strangers, I feel like even though her novels are not exactly tragedies but the complexity and heaviness makes it worse than tragedies novels. Like, I feel deceived by some of the novels' funny and cute summaries TvT

      IKR!! It gets really boring for me when they speak about politics!! It makes me skip the whole chapter!!:blobtired:
      I also read the author’s novel The Grand Princess and it was really good!! Still reading and waiting for the translator to finish.
