So, I've just finished a novel. I intended to write a five-star review, but I just can't. I can't help feeling sad and angry for the Original Owner (it's a transmigration novel). I love the comedy and the witty banters. FL is just AMAZING. But I can't shake off the feeling of despair, sadness, anger, disappointment, and other negative feelings towards the ML.

'Oh, no, did he treat FL like sh*t?' No, he didn't. But that's what infuriates me even more. I think both OG and FL deserved better. ML was a total failure towards OG. He married her when she was 18, got her pregnant, and then he ignored her after two years because he no longer loved her. But that's okay, he's a responsible man, he still took her to take a marriage certificate, even though he was acting all cold and no longer cared about her, but hey! He's such a nice guy, isn't he?

WHAT KIND OF SH*TTY THING IS IT?! I KNOW THAT HE DIDN'T EXPECT THAT HE WOULD NO LONGER LOVE HER, BUT HIS 'RESPONSIBILITY' THAT WAS EMPHASIED IS LIKE A JOKE IN MY EYES.

OG suffered because she lost her parents, married the man whom she thought loved her-- yes, his grandfather told him to marry her because their family owed her dad a favor, but the grandpa didn't force it down on ML's throat! ML agreed and he liked OG.-, and then she got pregnant when she was young, enduring rumors from her peers, and because she didn't have the talent to be a pianist like her father she was looked down by many, her mental state even became worse after she realized that she really didn't have the talent to, and she would never be able to fulfill her parents' wish!

WHAT A JERK. I already frowned with the part where he admitted that he knew FL isn't the original and that he loved her. I read a comment in the raw who said that ML never apologized, nor did he realize his mistakes. I suddenly exploded.

Yes, the OG was bad, she didn't care about the daughter to the point she didn't care when the daughter fell from the stairs and her head bleed. Yes, she gambled and friended bad people. But isn't the blame supposed to be shared together? Well, at least that's in my opinion. Anyway, all the blames are put on OG's head, and that's just more than unfair! After all of those cold actions? After all of those neglects? HE DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE THAT HE WAS MAKING MISTAKES, WAS HE?

JUST WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THE ML

That's why I have complicated feelings towards the novel because I do like the characters except ML. Well, actually, I didn't even dislike him a bit-- at least before the scene where OG left and he said nothing.

Actually, if you exclude ML's past and treatments with OG, he would be a very decent ML. Whatever. I'm getting angry because of a fiction character--- AND HE FRIGGIN DESERVES IT THOUGH.

Gosh, I love the FL, the children, and the family. I like how FL could choke people with her words with sharp but beautiful remarks, she apparently inherited it to the son, lol. AGHHHH, I LOVE THE BOOK AND IT'S COMEDY BUT ML IS A FRIGGIN JERK. The romance is also nice but what ML did towards OG just ruined it :blob_teary:

Conclusion: yes, I may reread the novel, but no, I will not write a review.

Coffea to Ell likes this.

@LAOG Damn, that is actually a good idea.

I read another novel from the same author whose FL was mentioned briefly by the novel above's system. That ML is better by miles than this novel's
