"Everything that the light touches... Is our degenation!"
"But what about that dark place over there?"
"We don't speak of them! Thats bl!"

Why are some (or rather many) guys in anime (and related) fandoms so shameless? They go on spamming their unnecessary degenerate comments online, to prove what? They don't care about the person who is reading their message, their mood, their temperament etc, and go on saying dialogues they have learnt from hentai and sometimes hentai itself. Okay. Got it you don't care about the ones who is reading your message.

But what happens when some people are talking about bl or sharing very sfw bl pics, then suddenly there is a realisation "oh no oh no oh no have mercy on me! This is disgusting!"

Is the bar so low? Are the degens or just toxic men with a deprived manhood? Hentai is personally very unsatisfying. It is not a substitute to an actual person accepting you, they just need to find someone. Maybe the toxicity will come down.

I actually don't understand people's hate for BL.... Like, look at yuri, why is there rarely any conflict? Lots of men seem really defensive about their sexuality for some unknown reason.

@ANonMouse same energy I guess. I don't understand why are someone's private parts are up in discussion... Ugh feeling superior by letting down others lmao...

@Aho I am and that's why I am salty. I did mention that it's important to consider the temperament of the one reading your message. Not everyone is a fluffball and can laugh off homophobic comments even if the person isn't a homophobe.

that's what happens when people are confident that they are the majority. Anyone else is a weirdo and can be made fun of. A meme site I goto regularly makes fun of feet fets, furries, and are seriously homophobic (not everyone, but a decent portion. Most are just making jokes). People just don't think in general, esp in consideration of others on the internet.

I remember about a decade ago, I chatted on a bunch of manga aggregator websites using chatango (group chat app basically), and I was kinda shocked at how fellow nerds (people who were probably bullied irl) were purposefully excluding others who were just trying to join the convo and have fun.

You'd think someone having experienced such pain would think twice about inflicting it on others, but most don't : most abuse others as soon as they're in a good social position. It's easy when it's just a stranger on the internet : they're not even real, right?

Oh, another example of people just being terrible in general. There's a relationship forum I used to chat in, and one of the weirdest things I saw was women comforting guys complaining about their small penises by making fun of guys with micropenises (not a specific person, generally). Why would you think of comforting some guys by shitting on other guys who probably have a worse time with the same issue? Peoples' callousness blows my mind at times, and that's even with me knowing humans are trash.

@Halcyon Observer but I have read dozens of lesbian things and I love lesbian stuff, I don't feel any ounce of desire for a woman. People are born gay they don't "become" gay.

Because some men seem to legitimately think that the moment they read a chapter of bl, they automatically become gay.
