Fake a smile
Laugh when it's hinted
Fill the days with made up happiness
To cover up the cold indifference
Know that our love has gone cold
But we don't want to let go
Giving out excuses
Whenever our friends talk about it

We pass by the restaurants
Which we used to enjoy
We drive past through the roads
The witnesses of our story

Missed phone calls
A war of words
Cold stares
We've fallen out of love
Yet not ready to let go

'He already knows my family,'
'My parents like her,'
'He helped through the hard days'
'She accepts my flaws,'

Now we're sitting on the couch
Watching that movie you've always loved
And I don't mind to spend another night with you
Extending our story to another page

Let it all flow
We'll know how this ends eventually
But let it be for now
