"Who is the happiest of them all?" asks the Seeker.
"The one who has made peace with himself", replies the Master.
But what does it take to make peace with yourself?
It means you cannot pretend with yourself.
It means you only believe that your heart tells you to be true.
That you only do what your heart thinks right.
And I believe that I cannot go on laughing and chatting, pretending all the time that you do not exist. That you never existed.
How can I?
All over here, lay scattered chats, broken conversations.
Fragments of memory. End of the song slowly dispersing in the wind.
How am I going to pretend that they never happened?
Tried to thread my ideas. Failed.
Tried to insert a line of thought here and there. Failed.
My heart is still so heavy!
"How can I make peace with myself? I ask.
"By grieving over your loss and crying your heart out," says the Monk.
