The sun shone
The trees rustled
And the birds were chirping

Yet I was still in a daze
Aftertaste of my craze
That caused me to hide

Sang along with the wind
That carried the breath
Of those that leave
And surely I would have joined them
If there wasn't a rope on my ankle

So I jumped on my bed
With trembling hearts
Lest I forgot
That I still have my rope

My rope is made of silk
Weaved from the love of my family
Strenghtened by their laughs
And glossed with gold,
Extracted from their dreams,
of me

My rope always hold me down
Every time I wanted to fly
Away from my body
And let go of everything

So I hold tight my rope
Because I know
It's the only bind I have
With my sanity
