   8. 基建指南 Infrastructure Guide

   The gong MC transmigrated body and soul into another world of kinda stone age era that had third gender (ger/sub female in mtl). But this time, MC was not married to ger (I'll just call all third gender as ger), not like the other similar stereotype farming, BL novel.
   This novel is the short version or the downgrade of Stone Age Husband Raising Journal . It has the exact plot line. Stone age, hunting beast/animal for food. ML shou broke up with one of the alpha male in the tribe after he found out the cheating. MC proceeded to woe ML with cooking yummy food. MC became the priest and started to help the tribe to develop farming, metal work, pottery, raising animal, trading, etc. The usual rivalry with the cheater and his companion.
   Maybe because I alr read Stone Age Husband Raising Journal , so I felt so much boring while reading this. The author could provide more detail of a realistic living in kinda stone age era, there's no sense of danger aside from earlier chapter (being eaten by the beasts) or providing with the tribe detail for us to familiarize with the characters, or introduced more support characters and their stories. For example, trading unique never seen and not invented before weapon with other tribe, er they werent afraid of being conquered of the sort?
   Ah right. Forgot. He had some kind of encyclopedia golden finger, maybe like wikipedia that he could read in his mind.
   I said it was a stone age kinda era, because they lived in cave. Their main staple food was raw meat, they couldnt or didnt know the thing called cooked meat. No farming, no farm animals, just hunting and foraging. So yeah, the stone age era kinda or the ancient china stone age kinda lol
   It was a struggle to finish reading this.

   This ..... I actually am a bit confused of how to categorize this novel.
   It involves farming, a lot of farming. But, the MC is a reborn not transmigrated, AND this is in modern era not ancient tho with how the plot and set play and written, you wouldnt think that this is set in modern era.
   
   The gong MC's life before reborn was a hard and sad one, his life was destroyed by sleeping enemies. He was reborn in the time where he was already in the slump, before he dedicated his life to destroy his enemies, but this time he decided to go back to his parents village and farming. Also coincidentally, he received a powerful golden finger, an interstellar 3000 mall, with it he could buy and sell goods with otherworld inhabitants and with it too he could be a miracle farmer. All his field bounty would yield good products and he could sell them higher than the normal market value.
   MC was helped in farming by his classmate from the same village and his disable father. This classmate also led a hard life being cheated and lied by his uncle and the classmate stepmother but this classmate and his father didnot know this. Later on, they found out about it and managed to repay all the bad deeds and be free of sad life.
   
   I want to say, this is a BL noel, but this novel actually didnt have ML, because ML involvement with MC felt not that important, and MC was very skillful, he could kill off all his enemies alone. Even if there's a interstellar golden finger, it didnt really show up in the story. We'd read more of his farming method, MC way in dealing with his scummy uncle's family and his friend's, and how his vegetables could win the support of many powerful people. Ah, also there's another element of supernatural or taoist cultivation of sort! All trendy genre! And it became so chaotic that it was normal when the plot went awry and several plot from earlier chapters were abandoned.

   Wow, the most useless modern born MC that transmigrated into ancient world with the third gender, I ever read!
   And this novel is written in confusing way.
   
   This MC was the last survivor of an apocalypse by hiding with his space ability. Then got transmigrated into a ger, who already married and got saddled with his husband 2 younger brothers to raise. Since his husband was conscripted to serve, and it was alr three years, the husband's family and his own family abused them, and left them to starve. MC family stole the wages his husband sent back, and got rich for it. His husband's family alw stole wahtever good they have.
   After the 2nd younger bro hurt by ML (husband)'s family, MC rented a house in the town to live, and to make money by selling beansprout. Fortunately ML's time in the army was over, he went back back to the village with his friend. This friend was an orphan and have no one and he found another ger there to marry to live with him in the village (and yes, this ger also had a sad background, also a ger with a younger brother too). I'm telling you almost all the gers here have sad story.
   
   After I finished this, still no complete story of the Original owner background, for example why and how was he (MC) married and raised his husband 2 younger brothers himself, the way author told us the MC and ML's families structure was scattered here and there. Also why was the Original sick and then died (and MC transmigrated over) or he wasnot died but just woken up? In fact, the story didnt tell us anything of the big mistery that was built up and it fell flat. I felt so much confused.
   
   Another thing I was confused of, the personality of ML. The first impression was of course the usual stereotype, but then it changed into a flirtatious easy going able to smart talk ML.
   
   Shockingly, MC couldnot find anything in his brain to invent something to make money, beside beansprout, chestnut cake, and salted egg (which never got used and failed). And he never could think of something so he could use his space as his advantages. Actually, I think the author forgot about this space thing.
   
   Ah well, this is a very very very simple story that never got out of their little village.

   The gong MC is Yu QingZe, a chef that died of landslide and tranmigrated not only his soul but his physical body into another world of only man and ger. He was saved by ML, Chang Le a strong mute ger, and stayed in his house together with ML's younger brother and grandfather.
   Together with ML and his family, MC tried to survive and marry his choice husband. MC is a chef and knew bitsy of farming and plants. He designed and sold several tools to help the farmer. First, he opened a small food stall to sell light snack, then a snack/desert bar, then a restaurant and etc.
   Of course there'd be conflict of interests but MC was saved by powerful family he befriended when he purposely helped the family's grandson's anorexia problem with his skill as chef.
   There are may characters involved, several still got used till the end, several just got mentioned. Interestingly, MC and ML used their fellow villagers to help them in their business, and MC also tried to help the villagers to help them with the heavy load like asking them to make stuff like noodles, sausages, then sold to MC and ML for their store.
   What's interesting, is how the author made everything, the people and the event, to be either coincidental or the wheel of fate and karma is real. ML's parent died saving people, and these people relative was then saved by ML's brother, then they saved ML's grandfather, then they repaid with helping ML. The circle of their life is truly small, they dont go to other places, dont mingle and do face slapping to villager, basically they only stay in the village, go to the store in the town, after their business stable they live in the town. But most of the story involves food. These went to fill a big yet short 170 chapters .
   Several characters and intersting plot story did get left behind and ignore. Sad.

   A very different kind of transmigration, not the soul but the whole body went into ancient era. MC was a soldier, Zhou Ze, fell from a cliff into a different world with third gender. He was saved and helped by orphaned ML (a ger) Li Yun and his younger brother Li Bao when they went to mountain looking for a miracle herb plant to sell.
   The brothers' close relative asked MC if he's willing to stay and look after the brothers and indirectly asking if he wanted to marry Li Yun. Since Zhou Ze also had this intention, to repay and to live together with them, he slowly integrated into the slow life of ancient era in different world. MC didnot have any special ability, only his strength as a soldier, and knowledge to develop.
   After agreeing and making arrangement to marry ML, MC started to look for way to live. First with looking and selling stuff from the mountain esp the miracle plant, then he opened a grocery store in their home, together with the brothers they just live humbly and didnot mingle to much higher places.
   From the start, the brothers werenot the timid characters, eventhough their parents were gone and their live was hard. It really was just a slow life of the three of them. Until the younger brother married a ger too, and MC ML had child, they still lived in the village.
   There was a hint of cultivation and martial art element, but MC didnot want to muck around in it because he only wanted to live a peaceful live and he knew it was no good to touch those powerful people.
   There's no face slapping even once! There's no scum relatives/parents/in laws. There's no love rival.

   I only managed to read until ch 21. This story is slow paced, but with so many differences and lacking of detail and confusion.
   -Instead of farming field MC was selling food as his first step and he made it with the help from his space such as condiments.
   -The people in this village were a bit wealthy, they could afford to buy food from MC's everyday and whenever MC sold another food like noodles, roasted meat, they still could afford to buy. These condition was different with how similar novel told the story of a small village with poverty everywhere. So yes, confusing.
   -MC was supposed to be a fool, or maybe he's just a bit slow, but it still was a cause that made MC to be driven out by his mother. His mother was shamed and ashamed that she gave birth to a fool/stupid son, and she treated him harshly. ML was a ger and not from the village, ML with his mother and his younger brother (a ger too) came to live in this village after their village was in a disaster. MC family (his mother) used this fact to let ML to marry MC, but without any dowry given to MC and just kicked MC and ML out.
   What's confusing was how ML could accept MC change of behavior that fast. Not only a change of behavior, but MC showed his intelegence by cooking, selling food, and doing all things that he shouldnt be capabled of doing, yet nobody said anything.
   -Until ch 21, MC family didt show up to ask for money or anything, only some bitching with themselves. And MC never did any face slapping either.
   -ML was of foreign surname in the village, so they were easy to bully and underestimated by villagers. When he married to MC, villagers didnt care abt him. But suddendly, after ML gave birth and MC gifted him good clothes, people started to say ML was beautiful and they all wanted to see him and be jealous of MC. wtf. What's this plot hole showed up for? Just to make another vinegar husband material plot? facepalm
