Perseverance (poem)

When there's sadness,
Hope withers,

When there's joy,
Hope blossoms.

When there's anger,
Hope shivers,

When there's fear,
Hope protects.

A farmer ploughs his field before planting,
A teacher dusts away the past lesson before teaching,
And the Autumn sheds old ones to herald new blossoms for the spring.


When ye is hopeless,
When ye is filled with sadness,
Hold tight..

Hold tight for time is nigh,
Hold tight as a new beginning is in sight.

No land is barren too long,
No darkness alive till noon;

And the one to wait, will prevail
Of that the heavens made sure.

And atlast,
When there's no will,
There's no place for hope

For

Will carries the seed of hope.
