Random poem 5 - the struggle

Do you believe the lies you tell yourself
At the deepest depths of night
When there is nothing left of light
Yet you desire the fight itself

Some will oggle,
While you struggle~
Yet you go on,
Hoping for dawn~

Nothing goes your way
But truly, thats okay
The fight is all you know
...but its so slow~

How is it,
You havent fallen yet~
How is it,

Sticks and stones,
May break your bones
Words and notions,
May curb your emotions

Yet you go on
Long past anothers dawn
Yet you cannot stop, can you?
Its like you knew...

Its like you knew
From the very beginning
That your struggles only grew
And yet.. you're still grinning

How is it,
You havent fallen yet~
How is it,
You haven fallen yet~

It wasnt fate,
It wasnt hate
It just happened,
Yet you arent even saddened

Its like there is nothing else you know
Besides the struggle and its glow
And when its over, what will you do?
There is nothing... there is nothing, and you knew~
