When tears of Blood run dry
And apathy soars high in the sky
Will you stand with those for which you care?
Would you dare to follow long past hell, would you dare~

Dreams and hopes long burnt out
Truths and facts stand hard with clout
When Murphy's law came knocking
And stayed long for overclocking

Will you still stand tall
Right before the fall?
Will you still stand tall
Before death's call?

Life goes on, or so they say...
But does that truly hold, in the face of decay?
As they say, Life goes on
Even if... some are gone

Things we keep and things we lose
Thats not for us to choose
Flowers, laid to rest
Alongside our very best

Will you... still stand tall?
Looking on at it all?
Will you... still stand tall?
Or will you stall?

Ever on, marches time
But... thats just fine.
Eternity, is not for life
All that would cause... is endless strife

Nothing lasts forever
Even if we are oh so clever
Our life is a path
But we dont deal with the aftermath

@Cynic Viper I'd say thats surprisingly close to what i would call mine.
Though, in my case my world view simply isnt cohesive yet xD

Like, Life doesnt inherently have any 'value' - value itself is after all, just something we humans decided on. So what that value, or maybe even a goal, in our life is, what we see as important; thats not something that can be generalized, no matter hoe much humans want to do that. Its a thing where everybody has to make their own decision

Hmm, I try not to talk about these sorts of topic, because I have a very complex worldview and I find it hard to explain to people. But one of the main foundations of it is that I think everyone has their own way. And I'm not saying, we are meant for some things and not for other, I mean, we each have our own life and how we live it is different, our values are different. Some people would go through hell for the ones they care, but for others, people are no different than the clothes thy wear. Some would shed blood and tears until they achieve "success", while others don't want to get out of their comfort zone. Is there any of them better than the other?

There's a religious belief that suffering makes us good. That's the point behind punishing criminals.
I don't buy this idea. Suffering can only make us humble by installing fear in us. To purge our souls of evil, we need to fully realise the consequences of our evil acts.
On the other hand, being good can make us suffer from the materialistic points of view as being good is often synonymous to being foolish in materialistic sense.
Imo suffering and goodness are two unrelated variables. They are independent of each other.

You know, I've heard that from a few people. Not always the kindest, not always the friendliest; but from those that care about others.
Now the question is... is suffering what makes us good; or is being good what makes us suffer?

Tilga, I never attached much value to my own existence. I need to cling to others so that I've a reason to toil on.

Nope, not ready to let go and carry on even after that.
