Hey hey desu~ ♥
So I've seen a new novel in NU last week while i was looking for some 'Romance' 'School-Life' stuff i found a bunch of stuff that piqued my interest so i bookmarked them to read later. One particular novel had some epub versions in one of the sites i follow so i decided to read 'Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki-kun' in light novel version than the web one (its better than the Wn anyways) and oh boy did it live up to its reputation of being an award winning work, though like typical mob protag's stories i found the beginning cringy and took some effort to read through it. The Mc is your typical mob protag irl, looks emacitated, poor communication skill, ugly, no friends, thinks that life is a shitty game, awkward and all other stuff you can say about Mob protag's. Though one redeeming quality of the MC is his unparalleled skill in games (especially in fighting ones) he plays a game called Atafami and is ranked No.1 in the entirety of Japan. haha though some fate(?) he meets up with servers No.2 which happens to be one of the most famous student in his school Aoi Hinami (crazy right? like what are the odds?) she's dussapointed that the person she respected as the No.1 is a loser/trash irl, they go diss each other about life and stuff and Hinami tells him that Life is nit so bad as a game possibly on par with Atafami which shocks Tomozaki (lol) and she offers to give him a walkthrough on how to (be a human being?) enjoy life and prove that it is a 'God - Tier' game.

Honestly i thought his reformation would be some half-assed thing and he would become a riajuu at the end of the novel. Though surprisingly the things the Mc did made a lot of sense and took him quite a while to accomplish and even after 6 volumes he is still learning (though he looks WAAYY better than i the first volume to the point that he got illustrations of his own and he looks atleast 'normal' )

About the Mc Tomozaki i really like this dude despite the novel portraying him as a loser and has no life experience. He is not some sort of wimp like the other characters (though he can be indecisive in things he tries for the first time) he is willing go learn and improve himself and is honestly felt good to see him reap the benefits of his hardwork.

Hm? Aoi Hinami? my opinion of her? not much other than she is Tomozaki's mentor in how to be a humab being. Though i can't see why she'd go that far just to rehab a guy like Tomo ( well it is mentioned that she was once like Tomozaki and she worked very hard to become who she is. It can probably reasoned to be Tomo in being her rival in Atafami and the shock and disappointment in seeing him irl, she felt like all the the person whom she'd envisioned to be someone who is a 'winner' in life to be a loser who has no dreams to be an insult to her hard work in coming up with strategies to beat him in game)

Ugghhhhhhhh my hand hurts from all that typing desu~~ :blobdizzy::blobpats:

Anyways i'll put the illust down here ヽ(*・ω・)ノ

PS there are many characters stated in the novel but these are the only interesting ones (atleast for now ) or the ones with illustrations

Bad Storm likes this.
