Try to see this through the eyes of an adventurer in a fantasy world.
...this was supposed to be a horror story, but I guess I failed. There was once, an adventurer on a quest,
Humming while walking towards a wyvern's nest.
Evening it was, when a house the young adventurer found,
Grand and majestic, not bound to the ground.
Itching and piquing the young adventurer's interest,
Resounding voices were then heard, loud and distressed.
Lacking any doubt, the adventurer began to rush and didn't look around.
Inside the house, the adventurer blindly followed the non-existent sound.
Searching for the source of the distress, the adventurer kept running.
The voices slowly began to faint, becoming closer into nothing.
Here and there, the adventurer then began to bump everywhere.
Everything suddenly became quiet, causing the adventurer to be aware.
Adventurers seek fame and fortune, yet this one is special.
Dreaming of being an adventurer, for them, only adventuring is essential.
Venturing through the land of fantasy, they became smarter and stronger.
Eventually, the kid who was shy and meek was no longer.
Now the adventurer became righteous and brave.
The ones who are scared, the adventurer will save.
Under twenty breaths, the adventurer had encountered a girl refined.
Resolved, the adventurer was about to speak, when the girl pointed behind.
Emptiness was to be found, but when she looked back, the girl had a dagger stabbed on her heart.
Red lines runs from the adventurer's mouth, when she realized that everything was a lie from the start.
Here is one if you want to be scared.
A young boy is sleeping in his bed on a usual night. He hears footsteps outside his door, and peeks out of his eyes to see what is happening. His door swings open quietly to reveal a murderer carrying the corpses of his parents. After silently propping them up on a chair, he writes something on the wall in the blood of the dead bodies. He then hides under the childs bed.
The child is scared beyond belief. He can’t read the writing on the wall and he knows the man is under his bed. Like any child, he pretends that he slept through the whole thing and hasn’t awoken yet. He lays still as the bodies, quietly hearing the breathes from under his bed.
An hour passes, and his eyes are adjusting more and more to the darkness. He tries to make out the words, but it’s a struggle. He gasps when he finally makes out the sentence.
“I know you’re awake”. He feels something shift underneath his bed.
