I see endless darkness prevailing my surroundings.
No, I didn't go blind... or crazy for that matter.

Am I the only one having this vision, or are there others?
I don't know.
But I do know one thing, and the thing is, the world is gonna welcome a change.
It seems we've become complacent for far too long; we lost our fangs and edges. The world is simply not the same after defeating our common enemy, the demons.

We started hating on each other, betrayed, killed, profited and stole everything from our fellow kin.
Our reputation fell to the gutters amongst the countless races we saved alongside ours, but we didn't seem to mind, and aside from a few rare exceptions, we became a race known for corruption.

I don't know if this change is going to be bad or good, but it sure is going to stir things up.
This should have happened a long time ago, demons shouldn't have fallen. Those common enemies were what united us.

"Sinu, come on boy, hurry up" A kid yelled at his dog, him too hurrying to catch up to his friends.
"John, just throw away this useless mut. You have money, you have freedom, you can just buy a better dog... or at least one that doesn't remind a plague." From the dearest friends he was trying to catch up to, Boris and Michael, Michael reminded to John, and the other nodded.

From that alone, John knew it was time to find new friends.
"And how exactly does he remind you of a plague?" John stopped in his tracks.

Seeing John had stopped following, Michael stopped, and Boris continuing to walk, soon saw everyone a couple meters over, so he too stopped, "How exactly? Dude, his fur is a mix of black, yellow, white, pink and purple... he is always too sick to follow, despite looking similar to a wolf. And if I have to remind you, wolves aren't only a couple centimeters tall, but meters!"

Even Boris saw the happy go lucky climate quickly degrading.
He was panicking and trying to find a way to salvage the situation, but all seemed hopeless now.

"Oh, so if you got sick one day, would you want your parents to throw you away? Huh, would you?" John said with an extremely angry and disgusted look.
"He wasn't always this way, he had a beautiful white fur and his height reached above my knees, in comparison to now." John now seemed on the verge of tears. Sensing his master's mood, Sinu started to growl towards the two kids angrily, before John patted his head and said 'never mind.' with a voice colder than steel.

"You two find a new friend." He said and left.
His friends? Dazed.
They had never expected such a development. Neither Michael nor Boris did.

John walking alone with Sinus in his arms muttered slowly, "Just when are you going to get better pal?" With signs of tears in his eyes, to which Sinus replied with a hopeful bark.

"Heh, you never fail to improve my mood." Sitting on a bench, he ruffled the Wolf's fur with his hands for a while.
"This world is damning me to hate it. Just why did this happen to our lives..." He sighed softly.
"I just want a change, something to start spinning. Something to happen, for this life is too damn unfair!" He yelled atop of his mouth, standing straight up, angrily staring at the skies.

The skies which by the way started turning black.
"Oh is it gonna rain now too? Just great, what could be worse!" He said defeated.

Oh he didn't know, he didn't know, because if he did, he would never have uttered these words.

Don't ask, I'm bored and procrastinating...

Written a few pages of this stuff on paper while at school, but I'm too bored to write it, lol.
It's probably 2 chapters here if I convert it.
1st chapter is the prologue before the prologue, and then there is the actual beginning on the second chapter, something of which I'm glad for having finished writting, cause it was a wall for me at some point, and when I broke it, it was so nice (It was a sort of an unbreakable wall, and I'm a bit surprised for breaking it so easily... took a bit of brainstorming tho, yea.)

A rain actually started, and soon it was a downpour with no signs of ending.
The boy? Unmoving... uncaring. He just sat on the bench, wolfy sitting between his legs, and smiled, he had gotten the prediction right.

After spending more than a bit of time in the rain, he looked at the drenched clothes of his and the silly looking Sinu, who in turn looked back.
Deciding they had tortured themselves enough, he started heading back home, Sinu in his arms.
Walking in a straight line, he realized just how dark it was. If he hadn't seen the sun up and raising a few minutes before the rain, he would have assumed it's dead midnight.

When he reached back at his house, the headaches started... how to go in without making a mess... mission impossible? He could surely make a movie about it...

Brainstorming for about five minutes, he gave up trying to do the impossible, and just aimed at minimizing the damage.

"Darn, is it just me, or your fur looks worse than before?" He said, eyeing Sinu. Shrugging he grabbed him and tiptoed from the living room all the way to his room and the bathroom, "You really should try dieting here and then..."

Looking back at the watery mess he had made, he thought to himself 'I should be able to explain it, right?'
It was a large house. After the entrance, there was a small hallway, before greeted by the great living room. That place was so enormous, he betted even an Olympic sized swimming pool would have fitted here...
Connected to the living room on the left, was the kitchen, that this time could remind of a normal house, and on the right was another hallway, small too, albeit bigger than the one they had in the front entrance.
There it was connected with their chambers as he liked to call it and on the end were two bathrooms.

Yea, he could explain the impossibility of getting in without this mess... probably.

At first look, the whole house reminded you of pure luxury, but the more time you spent on, the more you would see how comfy and normal it was. Aesthetically beautiful, although boring after all the years John was staying there, and even less with the mess he had created... he just hoped no one would step on the shards of a broken vase he accidentally pushed on his way to his bedroom. An unfortunate causality.

      "Hair dryer, check!
      Pupper, check!
      Power... not checked."

"Hmm, is it not properly plugged in?" He questioned; though looking at it again, it was more likely the outlet was at wrong, rather than anything else.

They had electricity everywhere in the house, and yet this outlet found just the perfect time to break...
Moving at another outlet and cursing at his luck, he found that again the hair dryer did not work.

Aside from a few veins popping and a thoroughly smashed hairdryer nothing was wrong.
He went and fetched 2 fresh towels and soon wore another set of clothes.

"Darn, all this trouble for a change of clothes..." Cursing slightly under his breath, he looked at the love of his life beside him, Sinus, and broke all into smiles, "Heh, see me? Nothing can break me down!"

"A little bit of bad luck here and there ain't enough to bring this grandpa to its knees" He said, trying to mimic the stoic air some of the experts had... all taken from the novels he was reading.
