It's been a long time since I laughed because a manga, and I think this manga need some love!

Takane to hana tells a story about a high school girl that substituted her sister to an omiai with a scion of huge company.

Well that sounds like your run in a mill shoujo, isn't it?

What I like about the manga is the characters and how they approach their relationships.
It's such a fun manga! The girl sounds like @Poor_Hero with fire like @ioriangel and a dash of cuteness like @jamechi /o/
From this alone you can see how colourful the character is.
The male MC is a child adult with childlike arrogance, BUT very professional at work, such gap Moe lol. He's also very awkward regarding human relationship and common sense xD
The characters and the plot premise were basic (rich scion, hs girls, osanajimi, playboy best friend of rich scion etc) but the interactions and how the author weave the story are great! I'm laughing and smiling along with the story.

The genre itself is a romcom with heavy emphasizes of comedy~!
There are also underlying heavy plot but so far it's been a comedic and light hearted read~
Go read it, I'm sure you'll get hooked from the first chapter

      Agreed with Rhea-chan! The one thing that made me go from Shoujo to Shoujo Ai (and now Shounen Ai too! \(^^)/) are the boring male leads! Takane is a wonderful example of a not-boring male lead that actually keeps me reading more and more of the manga!

      And the male lead also, usually they are all black bellied lol this one can get really small and need encouragement from hana

      I feel the same!!! Hana is an incredibly lovely character! It's nice to see how she goes and makes the cliche become a different thing due to her thick headedness!

      And well... The 2 of them are really CUTE!!!!!! \(^^)/

      I'm reading it, too! What I like the most about this manga is how it has all the shoujo manga cliches, but Hana's backbone and no-nonsense attitude makes the story refreshing, like when Takane's bff says "I won't approve of you!" she's like "I don't need your approval lol". This happens in so many shoujo manga and most female leads are like, "oh no, what do I do I don't deserve him omg i'm just gonna cry in this corner". We need more Hana~~!

      Oh, I read that one already! I agree with Rhea-chan, it's great! \(^^)/

      My main problem was that it had no updates for who knows how long, so I forgot a lot of the characters, I need to binge read it again to remember them... I think I have been reading it since the first chapter was translates tbh, I used to stalk the "new manga" section of mangago back in the day...
