The Alternative Ending In My Head

I make my own alternative ending inside my head. So, FL was tired and cried in the hospital canteen, then a gentleman came to her, asking if she was okay.

They talked and the guy assured her that her dad would be alright. FL asked what he was doing there, and he said that his mother was sick. They both could sympathize with each other. Since dinner time would come soon, they agreed to eat together.

When they were eating dinner, FL found out that the guy also worked in a bank, but he worked abroad meanwhile she worked in a bank inside the country.

He suggested her to send her dad to the country where he worked because before his mother became so weak, he had intended to transfer her to the hospital there, the hospital had some great doctors and they could help her dad. FL told him that her dad refused the treatment because she would be owing her pursuer a favor (it's her co-worker).

They kept meeting for a week, FL even visited the guy's mother. the guy's mother got into a come. FL then accompanied him to look at his mother behind the glass. He said that he had many regrets towards his mother.

The guy's mother woke up and she could be visited, she asked him to promise her that he would get married and be happy. The guy cried and said yes. FL was tired mentally -from fighting with her mom- and physically -from taking extra hours to gain money-. She suddenly had a crazy idea, she told the guy about her and ML albeit not completely as she removed the part where the girl ML had loved this entire time was his sister (not blood related though). Since the guy was also not in the right mind, they hit it off.

They got married, then showed the certificate to his mother who became so happy. FL then told her mother about it but forbid her from telling her father -since he really liked ML-. Her mother was furious but FL didn't care.

After that, she shuttled between her mother in law's room and her father's. Her husband (yeah, I'll replace the words 'the guy' with 'husband' now), also helped her taking care of her parents, her mother disliked him so he tried to hide his presence as hard as he could and he only told her father that he was her senior.

Her mother in law asked the husband and FL to take a family picture with her, so they did. Unfortunately, she died the day after. It was very unexpected for FL and her husband. Her mother only softened a bit to the husband after FL told her about his mother's death, she also helped them in arranging the funeral.

The husband told FL to transfer her father to the hospital he had arranged for his mother. FL agreed and discussed it with her parents, who, once again, refused her. FL begged her parents then they confessed that her dad was not sick. Yes, he did have a tumor, but ML already paid the treatment for it and he was now okay. FL couldn't believe that her parents tricked her. Her mother told her what happened in the six months she broke up with ML, (dad was sick, ML took care of the parents, ML also had a surgery done because he was sick but no one accompanied him). Her mother also added that her father also had a high school crush, but clearly mother and father were happy now.

FL talked to husband who didn't say a word. She said that she felt bad and she confessed that she was used to being unreasonable and ML tolerating her. The husband interrupted her by saying that it wasn't her fault then asked if she still wanted to try it again with ML. FL said that she was confused and she had no idea what to do.

The husband, although not in love with FL aka his wife, cared for her. He proposed a plan that FL followed him abroad and start a new life there. Since it turned out that her parents were alright, FL agreed, besides, she had wanted to resign but she didn't only because of her father.

While doing the handover, ML called FL. Anyway, the same old convo. FL hung up the phone. She talked to her parents who had returned home, asking if they wanted to come with her so she could take care of them better. They refused the offer and chose to stay.

Two days before their departure, ML's -not related by blood- sister called her and asked her to meet in a cafe. FL said that she had never blamed her for it. The sister said that ML loved her and her mother, and even though he refused to marry someone he didn't love, he would marry if they asked him to. The sister called FL out and asked if FL was willing to see another woman next to ML. But FL couldn't care anymore, her heart ached for him, she had loved him dearly and deeply, and even though her loving him was a fact, it was also a fact that she was already married although it was not a serious one. So, she smiled after the sister left.

The day after, ML found out that the sister and FL met, he thanked her, then they had a heartfelt convo and ML promised that he would love her just like when they were still in childhood.

When ML called FL, her phone was off because she was in the plane. He didn't know that she resigned from the bank because her co-workers hid it from him.

I actually have more plots that I think about, but this should end here for now. I need to soothe my heart with a sweet novel.
