The legacy continues.
Tick-tick-tick.
The clock goes.
It just ticks.
It continues ticking.
The tick rings.
They ring loudly.
The room empty.
The room filled.
The ticks filled
The empty room.
A lone girl
On the couch.
She is listening
To the sounds.
As she drinks,
She sips tea.
Tea is sweet.
Just like her.
