I'm trying to remember a soup my grandmother (Oma) made when I was younger
After talking with my mother about it she gave me the ingredients to it but since she told me it was made in a pressure cooker I'm kind of at a loss... Never used one .. and neither has my mother.

  • 1 head of Broccoli
  • 2 idaho Potatoes
  • 4-6 slices of bacon
Were the main ingredients...
Probably salt pepper and butter as well...

Since I don't own a pressure cooker I was wondering if someone could help me sussing out the recipe? Or maybe explaining how one is used before I buy one?

@Emmyy for a soup related tag

      Its nice you guys @Archaic pickle and @Silver Snake have some confidence in me :) haha..but I do not know that soup.. I have used a pressure cooker to cook dry beans and it cooks them faster.. Looking forward to pic of your soup when you figure it out!:p

      Never used a pressure cooker before, so that's why I'm at a loss... I'd like to have a vague idea before I go buy one.

      @Silver Snake thanks for trying

      @Archaic pickle I would love to say I can help, but I really don't know. The ingredients feel so basic that it could be so many things. Maybe if I had a german cookbook. Hopefully @Emmyy will know a thing or two.

      @Silver Snake it looks good but thats not it, it's more of a broccoli base with potato cubes? With bacon added in after it's been fried
