I was once in white,
And they held me tight.
It was my cleanest,
And also my barest.
Then the white turned brown,
Which make my parents frown.
I was carefree then,
Not thinking the why and when.
I dyed my hair red,
It make theirs shed.
So they let me have,
Freedom that I love.
Then up with my shoe,
Excited of what to do.
Yet while walking I met,
The one heaven sent.
Again, I now wear white,
Like my first night,
Pure and upright.
I make a vow and recite.
The black turned gray,
Cause age don't stay.
The hair that was gray,
Now white as winter day.
All clothes turned black,
The final color that lock.
I thought the end is a scythe,
Yet everything turned white.
