[Meta notes: This blog is the start of a meta blog story about someone writing a blog. I usually plan out my artistic endeavors but decided to vent some steam while also getting a trophy point or two. Cheers.]

I crack my knuckles. The meta note explaining my blog post was completed. Now I was typing up the explanation of what I was doing which involved typing up the explanation for the explanation and so on ad infinitum.

Is that a real word? I dunno. Blogs are random enough and no one seems them anyways so it's fine to make mistakes here. If you're reading this, this is a blatant provocation to get you to respond to this blog post. If you aren't reading this, you are unable to criticize me!

I'll use this space to shamelessly talk about my stories. Right now, I'm trying to decide if I should start a new story, rewrite an older one (not re:write, lol), or complete book two (probably the final book) of the story I was intending to rewrite.

It's not like you can answer that question for me. After all, you're probably not even reading this. If you are, who cares?

Actually, I care. So if you're reading this, tell me what should I do? I want to write a new story because it's one I genuinely care a lot about and am enjoying writing (I wrote a few chapters for it.) I also have a better outline for it and enjoy the world I've built so far much more than that of the world of the story I'm currently writing.

But the story I'm currently writing is fun too, just in a different way. It gives me the opportunity to improve on a lot of weaknesses in my writing. Writing this story makes me feel good in the 'growth' kind of way. Also, it's pretty well thought out, if I do say so myself.

At the moment, I think I should finish the story and then rewrite it later if I feel like it. It won't leave me satisfied with the final product nor will I enjoy finishing a story I wanted to rewrite (since it'll feel like things aren't as good as they should be) but I'll get it done. I've already finished one story and I WANT to finish my second one.

Yeah, if you're reading this, sorry for the trouble. If you're not, who cares?

End of WC's blog, chapter one.

      I would do both...
Though it would also depend on my feelings, so it's not an answer that fits for every situation.

I guess start out by doing something.
Something is always better than nothing ^^

*rolls laughing* Well, you probably have more experience than me because you finished a series to the end~

So far I only have 1 dropped novel and a bunch of one shots... I wanna try a proper novel again though! >.<

And thank you! Good luck and work hard! *shakes pompoms*

@AliceShiki Tsk, I guess I'll stop pretending like I didn't know you were going to read this. Thanks for sharing your experience by the way, I always like talking to other writers about stuff like this. Good luck to us both, I guess!

"A writer reports on the Universe. When he presents his credentials the gates of heaven and hell are equally opened to him. He can hear the devil's defense and god's accusations.. The guards at the king's heart let him in. The writer can be anything and anyone he wants. When he writes he is a god, he creates." B. Habyarimana
So Create.. be a god.. Lol Emmy
      Personally I love these blogs..

I personally don't think I could bring myself to rewriting something, it's just... Not like me...

Growing as a writer is nice, but I think I'd rather just write about something I really enjoy, over something that I just think is "fun"... I mean, being a writer is my dream, so I want to thoroughly enjoy it at the very least~

Also, while blogs certainly aren't very popular, there are a few people that visit it with some frequency! So your post was definitely read! ^^)/
