What comes and goes

A bird landed on my hand
and I looked at it with intrigued

The bird ate from my hand
and I smiled enchanted

The bird nested in my hand
and I fell in love

The bird sang a choir
and I saw heaven

The bird stung me in the hand
and the peck hurt

The bird flew out
and I kept looking at it
