What if, Apocalypse event got owned?

Random idea warning.



Remember all of those apocalypse events in novels where humanity is quite or too much vanilla get steam rolled? In battle Royale, in FFA, in survival type of story telling...
Im kinda pend-up lately so, what if...

I really wonder, what if. In a parallel universe where the extreme emotion humanity emotions is a normal. Like a gun power keg where you can see people often blow shit up in society. *not literally blowing it up* like fighting, debating, group clashing... Etc etc
And the society had a way to make it work by mostly suppressing it. Only had a chance to express it in sport or some other way...
And suddenly
all humanity get a chance to unleash it by some random apocalypse events, and that apocalypse event got totally owned.
Like maybe...
When mostly the first stage where people get grouped up in starting village needs to fight a goblin scout...

They steam rolled the goblin.

They catch some of the goblin to get more information, sone of em get mutilated to get anatomy information, biological weaknesses etc.

Before the second quest started, the group started to prepare for the guerilla warfare for goblins. Like hit and run tactics, traps, some making design for trebuchet. Some random chemistry experts making list of formula for gun powder, smokeless gun powder, and other explosive formula.
Some survivalist maniac start foraging the woods
Some making groups start to full searching for any service that the town provides.

◝(╹▿╹)◜ ahh i dunno. It's midnight and im starting this blog to see that human is not too vanilla.

I wanted to read some blood thirsty fights

      But the only possibility of that same amount of coordination to steam rolled the apocalypse events only possible in a world where the existence of species war already going so long and make the humanity united completely to overcome it. Ofc there's always politc in higher up, but limited in power contest but not for the individual interests that overshadowed the group interest.
      ... Wait, i think 40k universe can be counted as a good example that can be used... Heh

      Well yea it's near midnight for me @Arbelbyss, and most of the history based on the belief contradict that don't have much tolerance for existing together.
      And mostly that mind set is extinct, but still preserved in high power holder.
      But, yeah. If it's uncontrollable no society can exist. |･ω･`) random midnight thought is so random

      It's midnight for you Luft? It's like 8:30 AM. Also an emotional humanity is a very harrowing humanity, imagine people killing other people because they don't have the same beliefs, mindset, and ideology because "muh emotions." What I believe is, people need self control, the ability to go into that state by will due to the circumstances surrounding them with the big picture in mind. (I feel like that mindset is somewhat alien if not inhuman but I don't know.) But sometimes it doesn't work out, people tend to get in other people's way in order to be in control of the people. So, too many possibilities for too many outcomes.
