Days come and go
And here I am wishing, hoping, desiring
For all the time in the world

Precious are the moments
Which fleet and pass us by
Wholesome are the events
Which inspire and excite ones soul

To you the many and you the few
A place for solace
And a place for company
I wish for all the time in the world

The present is a gift
As the past is meant for reflection
The future is always changing
So surprises are always waiting

Days come and go
And here I am wishing, pleading, beseeching
For just a moment of time in the world

      Yeah.. We can’t control time as we please. But it is interesting, no? The time, I mean.
      It can be a blessing or a curse; it depends on how we perceive it.
      We make poems and stories about time.. but as you said, time will keep on going; it waits for no one.

      @Haerether feel free to use it. I wrote this poem on the fly, and at the time, I sort of wanted time to slow down so I can revel in the moment a little more, when I was on vacation.

      Its like moments when you just wish time would stop and you could just take in that feeling, for however long you wanted. But time is relative, and waits for no one, she just keeps on going.
