Question Dao Type, well something like that...

So, i have read several Xuanhuan (or maybe Xianxia), there's many type's of Dao (and i cant find it in Wikipedia), maybe friend there in NUF can help me, knowing about Dao Type, in TMW, ISSTH, CD, DE, there's Dao (Essence or something that became source of power for someone with knowledge/understanding about specifiec field), nah beside elemental Dao, i would like to know another type of Dao, in TMW, CMIIW, i read there's several thousand Daos, but author only bother to descripting some, and in ISSTH there's Dao of Time, Dao of Space, Dao of Life and Death (Dao or Essence i think they still same thing), so for any member of NUF who already read many Xuanhuan (or maybe Xianxia) care to tell me another Dao?

Dao of Fire, Dao of Water, Dao of Earth/Mountain, Dao of Lightning, Dao of Wind (Elemental Dao), Dao of Time, Dao of Space, Dao of Life (and Death), Dao of Weapons (well maybe this include Dao of Spoon?), is there more? (several thousand Daos), I think it would be better if just write categories, like Dao of Weapons rather than writing every type of weapon you know (or Xuanhuan author know). Thanks

Best explanation to me comes From Desolate Era. There are 10 heavenly Dao's,3000(I think free to correct) great Dao's and the normal Dao's are basically an insight like Ji Ning Dao of RainWater.

Well the different Daos are tiered. Top level Daos are Yin/Yang, Space, Time, Destiny, Life/Death, etc. The next level would be elemental Dao like fire, water, lightning, etc and weapon Daos like sword, spear, saber, etc. There are also unique ones like vibration, rotation, hard-soft. The lowest level are insights which lead to an understanding of a stronger Dao.

like a commentator above said, check out Desolate Era, good split there. Like the dao of rain is simpler than the dao of the water drop, which in itself is simpler than the dao of water.

as you were mentioning, @Scratcher, Dao of [insert weapon name here] will be a smaller part of the Dao of Weapons -- cuz then you would be supreme with all weapons.

think of it like martial arts - you have a degree of accomplishment when you reach black belt. It's only when you truly have nothing left, like Bruce Lee, that you would have mastered the Dao of 1 martial art...then you can create your own and expand.....to be a master of the Dao of Martial arts tho, you'd have to bruce lee level in all the martial arts.

Actually, the 'dao' is just chinese philosophy, it means, the 'way'. There are many ways to translate it, way, path, speech, sword...

Anyways, Greeks had Confucius and his bullshit, and Chinese had Laozi and his taoism bullshit.

You must have read "laozi" as a sign of respect or "I, your father" in some novels, right? Laozi is regarded as the creator of the taoism (the dao) so with the passage of time, that word got the meaning of 'the original', 'primordial', or well, commonly as 'The ancestor', well, basically: I, your father.

The thing is, the tao or the dao is just a way of thinking, if you think your 'road' is baking breads, then you have the dao of the bread. HAHAHA. *im serious*
