    Does someone know why is Mad Snail releasing only one chapter per month of Tales of Demons and Gods?

    From what I remember from a few months ago, they caught up to the RAW releases.

    Pretty sure the guy lost interest in writing the series, His excuse is apparently for the manhua to catch up with the story, but he seems to be rushing to end the story despite the slow updates.

    Dude aint an idiot. He has finished writing the story TDG, now he is just slowly doling out chapters to keep the hype alive and not spoil the ending for manga readers.

    Im guessing there is significantly more money earnings for each chapter that the manga gets published. He would for sure loose readers if the story was completed on the web.

    Because the author's a snail... and a mad(crazy or angry?) one at that...

    EDIT: hey, @Zuward above said the same thing as me... coincidence? i think not, like they say, great minds think alike... kudos brother :p

    He started writing a new story under a new name which he also placed on hiatus after 300 or so chapters...
    This is the novel that he started writing and placed TDG hiatus: Star Martial God Technique

    Hiatus is a pause or break in continuity in a sequence or activity. So basically he stopped releasing on daily basis and started doing it only once a month - so it sort of qualifies as a hiatus for both novels...
