The first marriage is in chapter 88. Its with the ML still acting 'disabled' and having his 'prince identity'. They had to get married because it was what the emperor ruled them to do. The ML informs the MC parents that they want to marry properly along with her parents blessing (plus her mother was sad that she missed the MC's wedding day). He wanted to marry her with her having no regrets and her happiest moment. Although they technically did get married, previously, later on people didn't really acknowledge it because they thought how the MC had no BG and was not worthy of the ML so he wanted to marry her again but this time their full identities exposed (him being a sovereign of Tian Gangzong (inherit from his master) and the MC being the daughter from the Lan family (they are well known as a powerful family), being the Sun Moon Palace(?) sovereign's granddaughter, Tian Gangzong sovereign's (ML's master) granddaughter, and actually being a sovereign of Promise Palace(?). This brought many shocks to many people they previously had contact with since they spread the word (former fiance, fake family, old school they went to, ect).

Funny side thing-- previously, one of his childhood friends shows up and tells the MC that the ML is a 10 year old virgin. He actually shows up in the house when ML almost finally had his way with her so the ML was enraged LMAO. He had once attempted before but they were interrupted by the MC's best friend..

The only one who wanted the MC dead was her fathers brother and his wife. The head of the Lan family was supportive towards her dad, not his brother. His brother was envious how everyone liked LYX more and how LYX was the next head, not him.

Spoiler: How she became a sovereign?

She obtained the inheritance for it and was deemed worthy by the previous headmaster to be his next heir. He is also from the Lan family and left it due to conflicts (I didn't get too far to where he exposes what happens yet). He has a strong hate for the Lan family and will not allow any of them to attend his school. He is fond of the MC though because of how she appreciates people without false air, tries hard, and her past experience is similar to his (in his definition). He gives her HIS colorful bead and helped implant it into her so now she can train properly. Previously when she trains, she trains only her main strength, making people constantly in disbelief at how although their 'level' is higher than hers, she somehow beats them. She was unable to properly cultivate but after this, her training speed increases drastically.

I think it was said that her mother was able to get her put her in front of a government mansion in hopes that they'd adopt the MC before she was put into imprisonment where the MC was later taken into her false family due to the infant from the false family dying so the MC was the replacement. The Yue and Lan family was not aware of this and thought previously that the MC was dead. During the time the MLB and LYX was in jail, MLB mentioned that perhaps her daughter is still alive and will someday rescue them meaning they already knew where the MC was. Then they saw the MC again, it was right when the MC and ML shows up in the jail which shocks them cause 1. It was in YJ's hidden jail and 2. the MC had very similar face to MLB making them realize immediately that she is their daughter.

MLB asked LYX if she was dreaming so he pats her shoulder telling her this is no dream. They were nearly in tears. When the MC told them she wants to help them escape, they told her that YJ is powerful and they (MLB and LYX) are extremely weak ATM so they told MC and ML that they should escape by themselves instead. Although being in jail for 10 years and wanting freedom, the MC was extremely moved by their words of being more concern for her rather than their own well being. The MC was able to get them hidden into her chaos ring so they all were able to escape.

This is a little as far as I got ATM.

 

what is going to happen in the Crown prince's find-a-bride-party?....is it then when the emperor orders the MC and the ML to marry?

The emperor made him engaged to a minister daughter but during a banquet with the MC and ML, she harassed the MC, making the ML angry and making the crown prince and emperor afraid. They then punished the girl and after seeing her ugly face (freckles) had the engagement annulled. The crown prince had to bow down to apologize to the ML. It was stated later when they see the crown prince that ever since that day when he bowed for an apology, he grew up in a way so his personality wasn't as bad. He also still had love towards the MC but he knows if that if they really did wed, she wouldn't have gone as far as she did as he sees her now. When they met again, it was said he insist on not wedding ect when his parents bring it up. So far, he has no fiancé or wife.

Spoiler: Identity of the MC

She has multiple identities :
1. The daughter of the missing next head of the Lan family which is a powerful family.
2. Real owner of the colorful bead that's suppose to be in her pubic region which indicates her as the proper new head of the Lan family (which was stolen by her father's brother and implanted into his daughter).
3. Granddaughter of the previous sovereign of Tian Gangzong(?)
4. Granddaughter of the current sovereign of Taiyang Yuegong(?) (Sun and Moon palace)
5. I suppose niece of Wuji Gong(?) (promise palace)
6. Later sovereign of Wuji Gong
7. Tian Gongzong's miss (wife)

Spoiler: Identity of the ML

- Current sovereign of Tian Gangzong (why his status is superior than the MC's former fiance and the emperor there)
- Adopted son of the previous sovereign of Tian Gangzong (the sovereign found the ML abandoned as a baby with a jade that said Di on it, therefore gave Di as his surname rather than his own)

Honestly, I feel like there is no other rival ML's besides this guy. Although other characters develop 'crushes' for the MC, they never pursue her so I don't really see them as being "love rivals" but that's just imo.

Well, there is a new guy from the new school they enter, but it's more like he wants to dominate the MC because of her beauty and dislikes how the ML is ruining her opportunities to woo her.. The only thing his existence did was make some crazy girl hate the MC.

Spoiler: 2nd ML

- Current head of a famous killer organization
- Is equally as strong as the ML
- Regardless of seeing the ML and MC married, he decides to whole heartily love and protect (she knows his feelings but still treats him as a close friend)
- Helps/protects the MC during competitions to make a better name for herself (status wise)
- Gets angry the people who caused the MC grief throughout all the years after finding out what had happened to her and her family (he finds her life experiences more sad than his own)
- Helps get information for the MC to find her family regardless of the enemy being extremely dangerous and powerful
- Later when the MC has been MIA for awhile (haven't contact her parents ect), he promotes to purple 5th(?) strength in order to be qualified to go to the mysterious island the MC, ML, and their friends went to to find her due to being concern if anything happened to her (not far from the latest raws)

Spoiler: MC's parents

- Both her parents were tricked and captured by the Yue family (specifically, the MC's dad's brother, his wife(Yue Man Lan(?), and her aunt (Yue Jia)
- Her father is suppose to be the next head of the Lan family, due to the brother being envious and hateful, he plotted against his brother
- Her mother is a orphan with no background but the MC's father still loves her regardless of her status. She is beautiful and viewed highly by the people which makes Yue Man Lan jealous and hateful towards her, making her plot against her (wow just like her husband)
- They both have been tortured and used as human experiments for poison testing and cure making by Yue Jia their entire lives after being captured (they're in her dungeon)
- The MC's mothers real parents is actually the previous sovereign of Tian Gangzong and the current sovereign of Taiyang Yuegong, making her status much higher than Yue Man Lan who looked down on her due to her believing her status was much better than the MC's mother.

@vsukio was the situation about her uncle with his family resolved? I mean in the latest chapters, was her parents already free and with the family? And the "betrayal" of the uncle found out by everyone? If so what happened to them? I especially wanted to know the fate of her cousin whom her "bead" was transplanted to... thanks for the spoilers, there are too many novels that i want to read... wooh...

 

Spoiler: Has everything been resolved?

Yeah everything was resolved with a lovely reunion of her parents and her grandparents finally getting back their daughter (MC's mom) as well as everyone's poison being detoxified (mom, dad, grandma). People no longer looking down on the MC cause previously, people were bashing her for not having a good enough status to be with the ML since he is a sovereign and she was basically just a strong individual with no real background.

The betrayal and the actions of what the uncle and the Yue family had done was exposed during a ceremony that was about the current head about to pass the cousin as the new head but the MC interrupted and exposed the truth of what had happened, the qualifications of why the cousin cannot be the new head, the MC's identity as being the missing Lan daughter of famous son whom was known as a hero by the people (MC's dad), and proof of all their misconducts, which was proven when her parents reappearing in front of everyone to testify what had happened to them which shocked everyone (to see that they were alive, well, and beautiful (MC gave them a dan that makes them 20 years younger, so it was like they never aged from when they were last seen).

Spoiler: Fate of the Yue family

- When the MC and ML went to save the MC's parents, the way they had plan to distract and destroy the Yue family was by using bombs, but not just any bombs, these bombs were filled with a new poison the MC had made so that Yue Jia couldn't create a cure for it ASAP (she is a self proclaimed medical genius but in reality, the MC's medical and poisoning abilities is higher than hers).
- I think she bombed 3 areas? One being a place where the Yue family children obtains their inheritance(?), I think a ancestor hall(?) and Yue Jia's house LMAO. Prior to this incident, the MC sneaked in as a "disciple" of Yue Jia after a competition and before leaving, she wrote on Yue Jia's wall "revenge". So people think this incident might have slightly involve with Yue Jia potentially offending a poison master.
- They abandoned their new disciples. There was one girl the MC felt was quite intelligent so the MC wrote a note telling the girl to go to a specific location. Since the girl had no where else to go and couldn't really go back to her family (it's the same for the rest of the disciples), she told the other disciples if they wanted to follow her which they all agree'd to. They all end up in a forest and waited for awhile. I think about half decide to leave while the other half and the girl decided to stay to see who wanted them to show up. The MC and ML appeared and took them into Wuji Gong to which everyone was excited because it is a powerful school. They were a bit hesitant thought because of the lack of medical students and teachers at the school but was convinced otherwise.
- After the children of the Yue family was poisoned and dying from the bombing, the Yue family went into chaos and was a mess. They abandoned the children because Yue Jia wasn't able to create a cure for them fast enough (it was also contagious). Basically at this point, the Yue family was done for.
- The elders and remaining Yue family decided to ask for the Lan family for shelter since the current head of the Yue family's daughter was married into the Lan family (uncle's wife) but they were rejected at first in fear that the poison master might come after them next. They allowed them to stay in the end but in a different area which ticked the Yue family off.

Spoiler: Fate of Yue Jia (the woman who started it all)

- The MC decided she wanted to make Yue Jia pay back for what she had done to her grandmother, which was make the grandma extremely ugly with a poison that doesn't just hurt her mentally, but physically. The poison made her grandma feel extreme pain (due to insects living in her grandmothers body from the poison) and caused her skin to horribly peel off. By the time the MC finally got to see her grandma, she was able to cure her in time because if she didn't meet her sooner, the grandma would of died for sure.
- In hatred, the MC wanted Yue Jia to experience the same thing. The only difference is that she made a more intense poison than Yue Jia's poison. Not only that, they destroyed her cultivation so she was extremely weak and can no longer cultivate. Afterwards, she gave Yue Jia to her grandmother to let her grandma make her suffer.
- The grandmother put Yue Jia in jail with mirrors all around her to see her ugliness so it made her suffer mentally (Yue Jia was extremely jealous of the MC's grandmother's beauty and when she saw the grandmother again alive, well, and looking 20 years younger, she felt extremely angry and jealousy.)

Spoiler: Fate of Lan Yan (the cousin who has her bead)

- Basically, after the ceremony, she was embarrassed and no longer qualified to be the new head.
- The colorful bead actually didn't synchronized with her pubic region fully when they implanted it to her because she did not have a "colorful pubic region" which came with the colorful bead which the MC has which is why she was unable to obtain some inheritance (she didn't meet the requirements).
- She challenges the MC to a life and death battle with if she wins, they have to release her parents (they're in jail now) while for the MC, if she wins, she gets the colorful bead back. It ends with the MC winning with Lan Yan's death and extracting the bead out of Lan Yan's body.
- They then implanted the bead into the MC's father because she felt he is most qualified as the Lan family's new head, she had her own colorful bead thanks to her other uncle/cousin(?), and she didn't even want to be head of the Lan family to begin with because she was as sovereign.

Spoiler: Fate of Lan Jing Kuang & Yue Man Lan (uncle and his wife)

- The MC's dad and Lan Jing Kuang fought in public after the MC exposed everything to the public with the MC's dad winning.
- The head was disappointed and sad at what his son had done to his favorite son and his wife. Although the MC's mother had no BG, the head never had any issues with the MC's dad and mom marrying.
- They destory both YML and LJK cultivation then put them in jail.
- MC's dad decided to let his father in law handle them because they harmed his beloved daughter.
- Later, the current sovereign of Wuji Gong (the one who gave the MC his colorful bead) showed up mocking LJK (LJK bullied him when they were children). He explains that he too was a owner of the colorful bead and was the support the MC had to be able to destroy him. Before leaving, he breaks LJK's arms.
- They found out they can no longer be saved after being informed their daughter died from the death match.
- I think it was said they were going to be sentence to death(?) but yeah. LJK became a waste and they both can't escape what's coming to them.

Although there's like 3.8k chapters, I'm surprised I'm still up to date with it..

Spoiler: What's happening now?

The current story now is about them getting stronger, obtaining a new inheritance the 2nd ML was able to get, to defeat the crazy girl who's hating on the MC (since she's stronger than them)(they also want revenge because she kidnapped one of them and tortured her. They were able to save her and escape. The girl wants to destroy the crazy girl with her own hands), potentially exploring the new areas of the island/towns they're at, and probably finding the ML's family since now they have encountered people with his surname (Di). Previously, they went to the island they are at now to find ingredients to cure the ML but yeah it has been resolved and done with. Surprisingly, curing him also increased his speed of cultivation making everyone envious..

They were in shock and disbelief because when she was a infant, her dantian was destroyed(?) (she was able to repair herself) making it difficult to believe she has survived this long. Some people thought she had died not too long after.

Some of the elders already found out just by looking at her appearance because she's the splitting image of both her parents. They were basically in denial though because her surname wasn't Lan, she never admitted she was the missing daughter, and her eyes didn't hold hate towards the Lan head making him unsure if the MC was his granddaughter. After finding out the truth, some of them wanted to kill the MC which angered the head. Seeing the MC alive gave the head hope that his favorite son might still be alive.

No, she didn't go in and mock them. I think at one point she was near the door and overheard either the wuji gong sovereign or his father (his father is the Lan's head most trusted servant) talking to the uncle and the wife in the jail room.

The ones who wanted to kill the MC were the elders and people supporting the uncle side (since he's the one who wanted to kill his brother, sister in law, and the MC after her birth). She's in his way from getting his daughter from becoming the next head and was a potential danger to him.

 

Oh i see! ...did she go back to the family before finding her parents in jail ?

 

I think she went to save her parents first before going back to the Lan home. (My memory is kind of vague on this). She only went because she won a competition as the representative of her school. Her schools sovereign's father was there and saw the MC. Shocked by her similar appearance to her dad and winning the competition, he invites her, the ML, and the 2nd ML (they tied both for 2nd place while the MC got 1st) to the Lan home to cultivate in one of there special training areas(?). When she went, she never told them her real identity.

 

When the grampa invited the mc,the ml and the 2nd ml to cultivate and got recognised by the elders, what was the reaction of her uncle?....did he also try to kill her again? ...what excuse did the elders give to the family head after he found out they tried to kill his guests for no reason?

 

Spoiler: Uncle's reaction

His reaction was first, suspicion due to the MC's similar appearance to his brother. Perhaps his second reaction could be hate. Why? Because before even coming to the Lan home, the MC was already an obstacle in his daughters way during the competition (MC got 1st, his daughter got 20th place, usually she gets in the 10th place so this was an embarrassment to them) as well as harm his daughter by poisoning her.

Spoiler: Assassination?

Yes! He tried to kill her again. He tried to convince his aunt in law (Yue Jia) to poison the MC during a banquet which failed and resulted it in the embarrassment and slandering of Yue Jia making her enraged at the uncle for forcing her to take all the blame.

Spoiler: Punishment

Well, the grandfather didn't punish them. He just heard that they were planning to kill the MC making him enraged so the grandfather ordered the cousin/uncle to protect the MC. The elders only got punished way later when the MC exposed everything when her parents reappeared. The elders who were in cahoots with the uncle were in jail with him when he got captured and were going to be executed.

 

What is this bead thing for? It belongs in her pubic region ? O.O

 

It's a cultivation thing

 

All cultivators use their dantian to cultivate. If it's damaged or destroyed, their strength becomes extremely weakened or they can no longer cultivate, meaning they lose all their strength and become a waste. The MC's family has a unique thing where certain members of the family will be born with a colorful bead which allows them to cultivate faster than normal cultivators. The colorful bead also allows them to gain an inheritance normal people can't get.

The MC had to train via physical strength + life and death experiences since she her dantian was missing her colorful bead, it was much harder for her to cultivate, but her method of physically training allows her to be stronger than some people who are considered "higher than level" than hers since they didn't get stronger physically like her (ex: if she's a 3rd purple rank or w.e, she can beat a 5th purple rank).

The unique thing about her dantian is not only is it colorful (this is not normal), there's also a tiny hole where the bead is suppose to be placed. Such a thing does not exist in normal dantian. These two reasons are why the cousin who had her bead was unable to obtain the inheritance and fully use the colorful bead.

 

do we ever find out more about her past life? Or is it completely irrelevant to the plot?
