    Perhaps, but at the same time, you're actually an employee of your company and is entitled to the laws that cover you. Qidian's contract does not offer you that since you are not 'employed', you are an individual contractor.

    All complaints I've ever heard about them was about TL quality and speed.

    I respect qi for fucking over so much those who signed the contract, I do not aprouve but... they're good, really good at this, it looks like a devil deal.

    Ps:thx for the work, CD is the the first ln I read, and I was here since the 6 vol, man finding novel was hard in that time, thx nuf

    Like I said, this is the original draft. The guy that sent it said discussions would be based around it. I.e. we can adjust the terms of the contract but we can't change them. Guess how many people just threw back the whole contract and said, "Change this damn thing it's a fucking slave contract you asshat"

    now that I read the posts on this thread it seems likely translators signed something like this. Whoever signed this even if it was to finish what they started are dumb asses if that contract is still the same. I do not care how emotional it was for you to finish a novel but this contract that permanently binds you is a dumb contract and by signing it fucks you over in the long run.

    Yes, which means whoever has more money/connections will win the lawsuit regardless

    I've never had a problem with their speed. Their speed is actually standard-ish? Their quality isn't terrible either. I'd say it's standard.

    It's just that RMX and Loveless and many others are too godly and fast!

    Yen Press was professional and honest.
    Qidian is being a stereotypical sect villain, trying to throw their weight around because they're big.

    no, sorry that wasn't what i meant by worse, like someone said before Yen just did a hostile take over for immediate removal or face legal actions. Thus my words.
    Edit: Also it's not that Yen is so slow as they are doing translating and releasing from a novel release POV as opposed to a chapter release.

    Yes, but they've never slandered the other party, nor blatantly called them out for piracy or any sorts. They were just like "please take them down, since we're gonna sell them in bookstores!"

    well personally i have no problem with WW drop all qidian novels, ill just start with all the ones they announced that they are picking up, and move on from there, let see what happen when Qidian loses money
