That's because Alric went beyond the taboo in the Magic world and killed MC's original bodies family close to extinction...
Jayden is dead how can he be alive ???? . His alchemy master was a mere rank 1 and they onlylive 100 yrs to 300yrs and mc was gone for a long time and not to consider that the teacher might have been old already .
CN LN authors don't keep notes or a plan, they just write and write. often writing multiple chapters PER DAY. The entire thing is ad libbed. So yea, they often make mistakes.
I'm surprised that the Fallen Star Pendant managed to stay within the hands of his family member and survive all this time, that thing is just about as old as Leylin and still works.
Yh I guess I was also about to wonder leylin descendant he called the guy leylin sent to protect the family grandpa but he was not even a magus AND he was already very old when leylin bought him and the mc was 20 at that time
Pfft , he was watching his descendant just to ** around with alric ( somehow i feel bad for him but who put him to hunt down his family )
So any idea who Fang Ming is? and I'm begining to question how cold and calculating leylin is, he seems to care about family and friends quite a bit. even if he abandons people that he calls his friends if he faces a enemy he can't defeat, then later on when he can do it he does. at least thats the vibe ii'm getting. also since when was he a playboy in the past? can some tell me who he was in the past, perferably with how old he was?
Chapter 675: Sweet, sweet revenge. Lovely lovely. So, I read a small comment in the teaser of 676, that read "I actually expect him to find a spell or a potion formula to remove the snake curse when he did the soul search." It made me theorize and speculate... Since Author is writing about Leylin tracing back his roots, because of the curse... There is also the potential Plot within the curse. I came to remember a special region in the Central region of the Magus land... If anyone recall, the Quicksand organisation? Well, if you remember... This region was barren of energy that was beneficial for the cultivation of a magus... Almost as if the laws from the Sun's Child had burned away it all with his ascension or death. This also ties in with the repeated talk about Magus being able to alter territory once they fight. This bring me back to Chernobyl Islands... Which is for some reason named after Russia. So, my theory is that Chernobyl Islands barren atmosphere might be similar to the region in Central plaza. And there is an inheritance of a rank 7 on the Island or similar that could solve his Bloodline shackles. At least, this is my theory and speculation. It would be plausible plothole that one can utilize.
Since he takes "revenge" and that stuff seriously, would he go and find that "Gold Giant" or whatever it was that he and his group had to flee from in the desert (when they moved from dark to light territory)
I think it was more "I need to make an example from this guy since he publicly slapped my Face", since as he stated he didn't actually care about the lost family. MC doesn't seem to care about face much, but he is not doing this out of rage that someone dared to not give him face rather a cold move to cement his authority when coming back to the south coast by pretending to care about face. Still though, this is a huge waste of a perfectly good assassin golem.
To summarize, Fang Min is from Earth, his soul came to this world with the AI Chip pre-installed and inhabited the body of Leylin Farlier, a playboy with some aptitude for magic that died in the carriage during their trek to the south coast. So, Fang Min took the identity of Leylin Farlier since that was the body's name and it would have been suspicious if he used a foreign name when it was known he was from the Chernobyl Islands.
It's because you can re-charged that pendant (if i recalled it correctly, not really sure). And it's kind of live-saving treasure that you won't used too often.
